GC did this work for you in different kind of detail 🤣

Thanks for your concern; but I didn't do it myself.  I copied it from LPGA's 'Online Media Center'.

The reason I did it is because not many posters knew Kristen Gillman won a JLPGA event as an amateur.  I'd high hope for Kristen when she joined LPGA in 2019 but she hasn't played well in 2020 and 2021.

Hope this Q-Series will jumpstart her again to a respectable career!

Kristen, like Andrea Lee, has been a real head scratcher.

I'm not surprised.

Playing well as an Am....most often doesn't equate to stardom on the LPGA.

Big difference in talent in the Am ranks vs. the LPGA.

If one eye balls the lists from 1988-2018 the USGA Women's Am and individual NCAA..and the winners....only about 1/3 had an ok LPGA career....with very very few LPGA stars from those lists.

I'm concerned about Jeeno, she's been dreaming about LPGA since 13 years old; this next two weeks is bigger than anything she's done thus far.

No doubt she'll advance to LPGA, but the emotional tsunami she needs to overcome will be huge!

Huh???...what's with all the cotton candy Pink Shirt fluff talk....you're a 70 something guy.

Is Rich Lerner retiring and you're trying to replace him.

Old skool guys talk like this:

Show up, play well and don't CHOKE.

You mentioned earlier that Ayaka Furue won't do well at Q-Series; Do yo want a bet?

Not with Furue.

You make a specific Q-Series prediction and if I agree....if you are correct....you win...I can't post in the LPGA thread for 6 months.....if you aren't correct.....you lose and you're off the LPGA thread for 6 months.

Who's talking about 'not posting'; I'm talking about making donation of $300-500 to First Tee type of organizations.

Nothing to back it up but I feel AVD won’t play well, just seems like she is either in contention or misses the cut fabulously.

I think Gigi Stoll gets a card, never wins but seems a steady 12th to 20th place range which is all that’s needed. Kinda feel the same about Sierra Brooks, feel like she’ll never win but can top-30 her way to a card and keeping her card.

Savannah Villaubi is interesting to me, initially thought she was just an IG pro (and I HATE flat bills) but credit to her for working her way to playing status somewhere, can she continue her journey?

1) I was going to disagree with you because AVD's length can be an advantage against the weaker field at Q-Series vs. the LPGA

BUT

I just looked at her stats...and for someone who hits it so long....the rest of her game and stats are horrific....except for her eagle stat.

So I will agree with you.

2) I agree.

Savannah just seems like a grinder which, IMO, this format can favor.

Also, expect Bailey Tardy to get a card.

Savannah is pretty long and a good iron player, she was in a practice group with my player this summer. She is also very down to earth and fun. Same with Selena, not long but good iron player, if she gets on a roll she can put up  a lot of birdies in a round. A few $ on both of them keeps it interesting.

How about the donation plus 6 months of not posting?

Everything is just talks, unless there're real money involved.

If you want to bet....come to Vancouver and we can play some skins over a golf game.

You like to brag about your past career, money and some property on the West Coast...so the cost to fly here shouldn't be much of a burden for you.

I'll get @Golf Dino to join us.

I would be extremely disappointed if she (see below) doesn't get a full card, let alone top 20 here...

https://www.alba.co.jp/tour/news/article/no=177610

OTOH, shades of NCAA 2018 for Arizona Champions here -- and I am hoping at least the majority make top 45 though realistically, I think if 2 out of the 5 make it, Laura Ianello (and I) would be/should be satisfied -- Instead of Sandra Nordaas who isn't here obviously, I hope a good showing from the 2018 NCAA Champions:  Bianca, Yusang, Gigi, Haley and ok, let's add YuChiang as honorary replacement for Sandy...

Donation is a great idea, we can donate to LPGA Girls Golf, Frist Tee National Headquarters or any other choices aiming to grow golf in the US.

But not for $20.00; $20.00 is meaningless and painless.  Most people won't think twice about having a dinner of $20.00 or more, but they'd be a little be more careful if it's $150.00 or more.

How about $150.00?

I will go to that amount if it’s to the Clearview Legacy Foundation.

Wait just a second here, Annie in contention? For what, last place of the first cut?

With 2 career top 10's, you must not have meant Sunday contention.

I suppose when your 153rd out of 156 in driving accuracy and 149th in putts per round Sundays are tough to come by. Shame really, she seems to be a nice person and a beautiful swing.

They've been such a good group!

I don't know them, but on TV YuSang seems more down to earth than YuChiang; is that your impression too?

Yusang is the more serious/intense golfer of the two. Yuchiang the calmer more relaxed one... Personally the younger is the better one but she's only 70% in the last NCAA with a torn labrum. Yet she grinded it out.

Both had to rally stage 2 to make it to this stage. I think only a max of one of them get to top 45 this time around.

I'm obviously biased but in terms of "historical overall" ratings from their golf games, i'd say bianca, then yuchiang, Haley, yusang and then Gigi... But that's from way past (2017).  Eg who is really better since I followed them all?

Current form (past few sanctioned tournaments): Gigi, Yuchiang, Bianca, Yusang, Haley...  (Bianca and Haley have been really strugling this season) - so much of golf is also having momentum as evidenced by Jason Days 2016 run, for example - hence my trepidation with Bianca here... But, one can always have 2 good weeks! (Just ask muni in 2019 lol)

Got to know Savannah a little bit as she played in the WAPT tournament at the course I play at. She definitely is long enough to compete and is also an impressive young lady. Saw her at another WAPT event the next week and she came over and talked to the wife and I and she called both of us by name. Hoping she does well. Another one who could do well is Emma Broze. She can get it out there as well.

Also pulling for a couple of girls who played at Texas, Kaitlyn Papp and Agathe Laisne.
