The LPGA should sign a corporate partnership with Disney....so MICKEY MOUSE.

There are still 4 TBD's for host venues in the LPGA sked....with Lotte and Cognizant only 2 & 3 months away.

The PGA Tour has no TBD's.

 

With the golf craze due to the pandemic and full tee sheets....not many club memberships want to give up their course...especially if it's a limited golf season for them.

 

In case these events cancel...I think Mollie should contact The Shark and see if he can host these events in the Middle East.🤣

Interesting article.  Reminiscent of Michelle Wie’s parental influence/career path - except of course the decision to compete for China.  I’m sure she’s brilliant and very stylish, but that dress for the Met Gala was a big NO! 😳

And a marketer's dream, given her native-level Chinese proficiency...

I knew nothing about Gu until I saw a post in another forum.

I think her aggressive Tiger Mom has been grooming Eileen for this for all her life.

 

Can The Zhangster obtain this type of popularity and stardom?

Yes....but many things have to happen.

1) If she hasn't already, sign up with The Death Star (IMG).

2) Win the 2022 ANWA

3) Winning the ANWA gets quite a bit of exposure. So a day after winning the ANWA, announce that she's trading in her US passport for a PROC passport and sign the $25M Yani deal

4) Have Brandel Chamblee ATTACK Rose for changing nationality because of OBNOXIOUS GREED.

5) Announce a Cally $100M 7 year endorsement so she can be attached to Phil (see #4)....exposure exposure exposure

6) Hire Muni He as a PR/Instagram consultant

7) Register for Q School and win 2022 Q Series....turn pro.

8 ) Win the 2023 USWO and thank and HUG Smiley Mike for the $1.8M winner's cheque.

9) Change her personality and become more upbeat, IMO....Rose is too monotone in her interviews.

10) She needs a TIGER parent....maybe BJ ot Tina can adopt her.

 

So ya, if the above occurs, Rose can become a star.

EDIT....so where is China getting it's snow?....if you look at the background of the many alpine events....the mountains in the background are brown without snow.

They must be making snow like crazy at night, but it needs to be COLD and stay COLD.

 

The 2010 Olympics here in Vancouver...there were many days of really warm weather....great winter golf conditions.

They had to truck in snow from 220 kms away from Manning Park to Cypress Bowl (only 15-20 mins away from downtown) where some events were held...including moguls.

Whistler always has snow and is only 105 kms away...but the Sea to Sky highway was so busy...so they didn't want it jammed up with trucks full of snow.

Olivia has an English father (hence the English name) and German mother and was born and grew up in Germany. She played on German national amateur teams for 5 years. I've only ever seen her referred to as German.

 

Still, it seems unusual to have a German named Olivia Cowan.

@Rapidcat "Mea culpa!" i.e. i mistakenly thought i'd heard Olivia Cowan referred on youtube as an English Golfer... but a quick google/Wikipedia check shows that Olivia Cowan is a German golfer!

 

(she referred to herself as "full English", in the Linked youtube video below...albeit also said she "plays for the German National Team" at the end of the same intro sentence! circa ~55seconds timestamp)

@JungleJimbo easy mistake to make what with Olivia's name and her accent when speaking English.

 

Look at her swing from the video cover still, she gets her arms trapped behind her body (look at her right elbow, should be more in front of her body), her timing will need to be spot on. Bet she struggles with consistency.

 

I'd be happy to be her swing coach - for an exorbitant fee.

Godzilla was GAGGING on the front 9 with 3 straight bogey's....I then went to do something only to tune into GC now and see him clawed back only to bogey #17.

I've only seen Godzilla once....at the range at Chambers Bay along with his large entourage.
