Every time I load a page this comes up and I hit hit from muscle memory. Super annoying, no?? Anyone?

Install a "pop-up" blocker plug-in, for your specific browser. If you're using Firefox, install uBlock Origin.

I only get Cialis, massage parlors, ads for finding croatian or hungarian wives, links to adult cartoons, and Nickelback CDs.

Wonder why they’re advertising a fairly well known, and not new, feature of the site….on the site…

It’s on the iPhone. Safari browser. It’s not an ad from a company it’s like you click “bag room” then the links load but right before you click it it jumps to bottom of screen and is replaced by a large golfwrx logo and witb. So I’m already going there to click “equipment” and I click the ad. So weird and dumb and it’s not just on equipment forum it’s every one

Checked on my iPhone but just get it at the top and I can scroll, or go anywhere as normal.  Have you tried powering the phone off completely and back on?  Updates all good? I do have the block popups on, but I still get this at the top because I don't think that stops it, but maybe that has some other positive effect.  Otherwise, no other ideas, sorry.

It’s ok just was venting because my muscle memory had me click the ads every time. First world problems! Also other ads have shown up so guess it’s just a new way to put ads. Terrible execution tho

It started showing for me too, a couple days ago. Anytime I go to the forum website on my iPhone, there’s a random ad at the top. I’ve also inadvertently clicked on it because muscle memory. 
 

Annoying to see this! I’ve been enjoying the ad-free forum experience. Granted, there have been ads on the bottom of each page for a while now.

I agree ⬆️ I’ve been getting it on my iPhone as well. Posting a SS. Will also add another one I just got a couple min ago as well. And yes, I get why there will be some ads, but as F4L said, terrible execution!

I was just looking to see if I was the only one. I am cool with ads. They have to support the site somehow. And it’s not the witb ad that gets me. It’s the sheer size of the ad itself lol. When I first load the page it seems fine and in the time it takes my brain to tell my thumb to press, the ad pops up as my finger is coming down lol.

I do it too. Lol. I’m quicker than it loads. Except it lets me click on the add before it loads. Lol.
