Smoke a pipe while golfing? Where to rest it during shots?

Because that is a wind shield.  I would like a cover that suffocates the flame/embers.    So I can relight it a few holes later.

I am a pipe maker (Herb Booth Briar Pipes) and I make line of golfing pipes with flat bottoms with angled stems so you can rest it on the ground and not get grass on the tip.

That is a smart move.  Also should work well for pipe smokers about to get into fisticuffs...

It's too cumbersome and the smell is obvious, I leave my pipe at home and just take my pen to the course. 😆

I rarely three putt man common... thats howi shoot so good sometimes.. but block one under a tree.. leave a chip short.. shank a second shot after a nice drive yeah thats me.. and no didnt burn the ball holder. Even if i did it adds nice flavor.

I gave up trying to smoke cigars and golf. It either goes out because I am not puffing it often enough or I get ash everywhere on myself LOL.

Similar sentiment here. I'm a pipe smoker, and I get that it's more involved than a cigar, but I can't even walk and smoke at the same time. It requires my full attention to enjoy properly, IMO.

Glass bubblers are preferable. Bongs are just too hard to transport.
