I can see the value in that.  But, I think the front/back would make it a little more versatile.  Especially if we're talking a large amount of weight.  Could really tweak launch and spin.  Personally, I have never found a draw/fade weight to do much in terms of altering shot shape.  I always thought it was more or less a way to put more weight behind where you tend to strike the ball on the face.

Yeah, I think if you could have more custom weights for a fade/draw track and the back weight you could optimize your vertical flight and fade/draw bias based on different combinations of those two weights

I saw the new fairway woods the other day.  Stealth+ has a moveable weight front to back (up to the Speed Pocket), titanium Twist Face and adjustable hosel.

I cant imagine the fairways ever having the carbon face. Can you imagine the warranty and CS nightmare when the weekend hacks start chunking these things? 5 layers of carbon gonna come off in a matter of days.

Agreed! My 2017 M2 3HL face caved and I had to grab a tour issue Stealth plus 3 wood at 17.5 degrees to replace it. Should be available at retail.

I could see the face staying the same.  Especially if the Stealth2 is just an evolution of the Stealth.  To me, it looks like they focused on other areas of the head as a means of tweaking the design.  But, who knows haha.  We'll find out in a couple weeks I guess.

What is their typical timeframe for these releases? We expecting to see something before the regular season starts at Kapalua? I don’t remember the week off between TOC and the Sony, but I’m suspicious that we might get something official in the week between those tournaments.

Ah, the removable face that some people say is down to people hitting rocks. Considering both my m3 and m5 drivers developed cracks and taylormades putters come with removable paint I’m not surprised.
