Nice…they definitely improved the looks over the last one!

 

Hated that 51-8 being written on the last one, and this one looks like it will blend with the set better visually.

 

Edit: Oops…the 51-8 is still written on there. Doesn’t look as prominent though

Hit my set of zx5 mkii for the first time today. Loved the original version. I will say the new ones feel and look a little better. Performance wise saw no difference on trackman

Good to know. Did you find the soles narrower or the shape of the club more compact, or was it pretty much the same size/specs with a little different look?

Offset and top line seem identical. The soles certainly look a little thinner compared to my memory of the zx5s- Especially in the longer irons. Still kind of beefy. My combo set only has 4-6 of the originals to compare too.  New ones look like they maybe have a little bit of a sharper/higher toe which I prefer. Don’t know spec wise if that’s true.

PSA.  If you're ordering Srixon/Cleveland with Recoils, be prepared to wait.  I ordered CBX wedges last month and they are still waiting on Recoil 95s.  Was told a month for the Recoil Smacwraps in my ZX5s I ordered today.

first indoor session with them...

Super impressed Super happy locked in the bag.

They are almost identical as the previous version but "seem" a smudge more forgiving and they are about 4 yards longer per club on avg.

They made the Long irons slightly smaller .   At my golf level now the 3 iron is out and I'd likely replace the 4 iron truth be told..

 

I love them.  Will be in the bag for 2023-2024.

My rep said 2ish weeks till the Recoil 95s come in

Yep, I changed my order from original ZX5/7 combo to MKII combo irons with Recoil 95 F4. My pro's rep emailed him, my ZX5 5 & 6 irons has already shipped but the Recoil 95 shafts for ZX7 7-PW & RTX 52 & 58 will arrive around 2/17.  So I told the rep that I can wait, probably will receive them around end of February.

enjoyed the zx7s but had the slightest turf issues. Currently playing gen4 STs but think I’m looking to play a slightly more forgiving head this year.

Basically the same iron head in shape. More matte on it. Muscle cavity a bit different.

I was questioning this right before they were released because I was not seeing the markings for tungsten in the toe sections in the MKII irons.  Plus it is not mentioned in any of the marketing/tech notes.  I don't think that the new line has the tungsten plugs to be honest.

The 4 and 5’s have tungsten in the center/rear-bottom (I believe in 7 iron and below).  No longer in the toe with the new release.

I thought I had my old combo OG set in my basement but forgot I left it at my friend’s shop. I did take pictures of my OG ZX7 set for folks to compare against my MKII combo set. Reminder I got ZX4 4 iron, ZX5 5-6 irons, and ZX7 7-pw. 
 

MKII on the right side of the picture and OG ZX7 on the left.

I’ll see if I have time to get some ZX5 comparisons for folks.
