That's my current setup. Helps me hit off the tee or off the deck way more easily and there isn't that huge of a gap between 4W (16.5) and 3H (18.75) distance wise.

Yeah and I like that I'd have the option to turn the 4w down to 15.75 if needed.

Alright! Some positive feedback on my new TSR1 w/ Atmos TS Blue after quite a few recommendations in here, finally got it gripped up and out on the course today.

This thing is a rocket and super versatile. Can keep it low, hit it high, and goes dead straight every time. I never got along with hybrids before but this plays more like a mini 7 wood as others have said. Even with a couple bad swings i was seeing it fly straight..

In A1 setting (standard length 40") i was hitting this 230+ all day.

My new favourite club in the bag.

I’m intrigued by your setup. I’m currently playing a TS 4 Wood, Callaway UW 19* and an Adams Pro 20*.  The TS 4 wood and UW are within 5 yds from one another. I’m going to need to replace the Adams Pr 20* and trying to figure out if I go TSR2 at 21* or TRS1 at 20*.

I only carry 12 clubs, and personally don’t need more for my game right now.

I can choke down on the TSR1 4 hybrid and get it out there 210-215, give it a normal swing off the fairway and it’s out there 230, or tee up and put it out 240.

You won’t regret adding a TSR1 20° to the bag. Then you can more than likely keep that TS 4 wood in there, remove the 19° UW & Adam’s Pro 20°.

My plan down the road once I’ve replaced driver after a proper fitting is to add a 4 wood in between this and driver.

IMO that shaft is the game-changer in the TSR line, especially for anyone having trouble getting the ball airborne on that end of the bag.

Plus it looks cools a hell too. 😎

Agreed - when I took it in to my local store to get gripped (chose grip in box option) they were all checking it out and shocked it was a free shaft option!

Waiting on a +2g and +4g weight to come in any day now to tinker a little.

Just placed my order for one of these! Currently playing a Ping G410 7 wood, so curious how this will be in comparison.

It is amazing how forgiving this club is on off center hits. Really just wants to go straight with similar distance.

Agreed, TSR3 19* is the hybrid I am currently rocking and a miss still goes straight and only loses less then 5% of normal carry or so. Pretty crazy, doubt anything will take it out of the bag anytime soon!

i have had a mizuno hybrid in my bag for 20 years but the Tsr2 is so much more forgiving. Current my 21 and 24 degree hybrids are my favorite clubs in the bag.

Does it seem like the TSr1 sits open?

In my opinion it sits a bit more neutral than open, but with the surefit hosel you can adjust it to sit more open or closed.

Just built a bag on TITLEIST had a 7w 21* then a TSR3 24* HYB. I was looking at the TSR1. I feel like that plays more like a FWY

I nearly went tsr2 7w but after a few rec’s here for the Tsr1 and seeing Fitzpatrick gaming one with a nice 80g shaft I decided to take the spin on one and zero regrets. It’s my favourite club I’ve gamed for a long time.

I am glad you've tested this setup! I currently play driver, 4w (16.5 set at 15.75), 7w (21 at 20.25), 5h (24 at 23) then longest iron is my 5. I just recently made the switch to a t200 4i and was going to switch between the 5h and 4i depending on the day. I saw the TSr1 20 degree and loved that it's really Titleist's version of the UW. I just got deterred since it says it's made for slow to moderate-swing players. My swing speed with a driver is around 105-110. In your opinion do you think, the TSr1 4H could effectively replace the 7w and 5h? I would most likely be putting my Ventus blue 9x playing 39.5 in that head. Did you have to change the weights in the head since its lighter compared to the TSr2/3?  Appreciate any input on this! Thanks!

I don't see why it couldn't replace a 7W and 5H but also depends on your gapping and how far you hit your clubs etc.

I just wanted to drop my 5W & Utility iron so I could have 1 less club in the bag and go driver, 4H (or 7W), 4-P, 50/56.

I did order a +2g and a +4g weight to play around with but they haven't arrived yet. The TSR1 head is actually only 2g lighter than the TSR2 head (tested by another member and confirmed by Titleist when I spoke to them), so I wouldn't be deterred by this being "made for slower swing speeds". Mine is playing at stock length of 40", I nearly went +.5" but just decided to go stock and i'm glad I did because it goes so far already for me lol.

I swing my driver about 105mph also, and tbh I'm playing totally the wrong shaft for me but haven't got around to replacing it.

Thanks for the input! I was going through the thread and saw that TSr1 head can accommodate both the surefit adapter for both fairway and hybrid. I have a Ventus Red TR 8x in my 7w playing at standard 41.5 but Im intrigued if would be wiser to go wood or hybrid shaft?

Oh man I just tested it out earlier today and sadly I couldn't get on with it haha! I put a 15 g weight in the head trying to increase the swing weight and it barely got it to D0. Aside from the occasional straight missile that carried 225, a lot of my shots were high off the face. I did manage to try the TSr3 4 hybrid and I must say that was awesome haha! I definitely feel the TSr3 line this year is a lot better compared to the TSr2. The sound and feel compared to my 5h was pretty night and day. Im curious though, what did you do mitigate the lightness of tsr1 head?

Well I went and tested a TSr3 21* (turned down 1*) vs my 818H2 19*. I confirmed what I tend to see on course with the 818, which is that it spins a little too low and can go a little too far where I don't feel that I have the control I want, especially into a green. I went with the TSr3 as the spin ticked up to just over 4K, got it on the range yesterday and while it feels great it tends to go straight up in the air. I need to get more time with it but I might end up back in a 19* and possibly cut it down slightly or go with a higher spinning shaft vs the Ventus Black. I will say that the TSr is extremely easy to hit.

Anyone directly compared spin with the TSr3 vs an 818H2?

I managed to hit the sim again today to test the tsr1,2,3 4h with the HZRDUS Black 4g 80 6.5 shaft. Man these are hot! If I were to make a move, which 4h model would fit me best? Thanks everyone!

Question to those who have used these for a while now - do any of these clubs fit this description: high launch with medium to medium low spin ?

I'm potentially looking for a 4h if the new T200 doesn't work for me.  My current i230 4i goes way too low for my liking and I can't get it to spin like I can my other irons.  Maybe just not enough speed although I apparently have close to Tour average distance.

I use a tsr2 7w that I love and play it at 20.75*. It's about a 230- 235 club and my 5i is my 200, so I would be looking for a hybrid that goes high with out ballooning in the 215 range.

I would try a TSr2 or 3 5h. That was my setup before I put the 4i back in the bag. It was my consistent 210-215 carry club!
