Titleist TSR hybrids

For those of us who have been impatiently awaiting the TSR hybrid line, they're now up on Titleist's site.

To my eye they look a bit larger in volume than previous Titleist hybrids, especially the TSR3. I couldn't find the exact head size in cc's on Titleist's site but I could have missed it.

I’m not sure if that loft table is accurate…can’t imagine TSR3 lowest loft is 19*???

Happy they went away from the "iron look" on the 3, it never agreed with my eye (or swing for that matter). 

 

Usually produce a great hybrid, looking forward to trying them both!

How much of a lower loft do you need in a hybrid? Any lower and its a giant 2 or 1 iron.

Hard to tell the "shaping" from photos. I hope they go back to a more traditional shape like in the past. The last versions were "poor" at best imo... I still rock the 915...

I like the look of them both a lot, just went on the Titleist to price a vokey and saw them on the front page.

That’s exactly what I’m looking for. A shorter shafted 4/5 wood replacement with a little more versatility.

The site has 19* under specs and 18* when you do the hybrid comparison vs other models. I might be more interested in the TSr2 @ 18 or 17.25*, but really like the idea of getting the weigh out on the toe in the 3 in a flat setting. 
 

Just bought the U505 17* for no good reason. One of these should kick it out of the bag, and then I’ll go back to the 5w, where I should have stayed all along.

I can’t remember where I heard it but I was thinking Titleist was going to have a Utility Wood type option with the TSr hybrid release. 
 

Maybe the TSr2 version can be that - would need to accept FW shafts though.

Pretty sure most of my “spare” clubs are every different option under the sun for the 3w to 5i gapping 😂

The shape of the TSR2 is borderline UW shaping, if you look closely.

Fantastic! Went from the TSi to the TSr driver and FWs last year, have been waiting for the hybrid to complete the change. Didn't think this was going to be here until the spring or summer.

I am waiting for the TSR1. I am more interested in higher lofted options.

Also looks like Titleist’s site is now letting lefties order TSR2 7 woods and TSR3 13.5 and 18 degree woods. Earlier than they’d initially said. Great news for some of us who have been waiting impatiently.

Same question really for anybody going with a 24* hybrid -- is it your fourth-longest club, Nelly Korda style, or your fifth-longest replacing a 5 iron?

Yep.

 

5th for me. I am 51 and not very big, extra club at top.

 

driver, 3w, 5w, 7w, then 24*

24 hybrid replaced my 4 iron
