Titleist 2023 irons

Those T150’s look great hopefully they are slightly bigger than the T100s. If that’s the case I’m in for a set.

The T350’s look good for a forgiving set, I just hope the loft gaps are a bit better spaced than the T300’s. I’m not a fan of 5° gaps between the short irons and 3° at the long end.

This site always amazes me.  I can see bashing T200 if you don’t like the feel or the performance, but the obsession with the back of the club is very interesting. 😄

Not only that but the conclusion that many seem to have drawn that whatever feel issue they have is because of the plastic back.

Just about every iron that's focused on distance released in this century that didn't have a form of plastic back or foam injection.   Closest I can think of is the Ping 5xx/7xx not knowing what might be injected in the ports to avoid any PXG/TM infringement.

About the only concern I'd have is that with back being more of a cavity cover than cavity insert it might chip or ding in something worse than normal bag chatter.   Maybe current T200 owners can post some wear n tear pics?

Better yet, someone could make sell protective film sized to fit, kind of like the old sky mark protector tape.

Instead of calling T200s irons, shouldn't they call them "plastics"?

This is the new "TaylorMade comes out with new clubs EVERY 6 months BS".  Yes, TM has a 1 year product cycle AND the back of the T200 is not metal, get over it people.

If the T150 Is bigger than 100s, is going to ZX7 or P770 size?

Not even close.  for example t200 has a shorter blade length and much thinner top line than zx7 mkII, and from the photos the t150 is still smaller than t200 and barely larger than t100.

titleist is heading in the right direction, and I’m hoping t150 will be decent size, but I would love for them to make a players cavity in a closer to midsize option.

Yes Titleist continues to put the worst ferrules in golf on their retail irons and they look like they came straight off a kids club

Funny, I never notice ferrules.  Ping has ferrules now, I suppose.  Sort of a waste, when you think about it.

T200 is thinner than zx7? Dang zx7 must have gotten chunky in the new release.

923 will be a little longer blade length in the longer irons, and a bit wider sole with the beveled edge in the back.

zx7 sole width may be similar to the t150, but the topline and blade length are larger. Srixon also has a unique trick where they lengthen the grove lines, so it appears longer than it actually is. Which in turn makes other clubs appear shorter when you compare.

The new 350 looks like much more of an option in the ‘utility’ spot of 3 or 4 iron. Something between the t200 and u505.

All of these irons look great.  I have played the 2021 T200s off and on for the past 2 years, and they are some of the best irons I have ever hit over that period.  They give me launch (which I need), forgiveness (which I need) and distance (which I want).  My only negative is their feel.  My hands and wrists actually ache sometimes after playing these irons.  I hope they can make this aspect of the iron a little better.  Can't wait to try them.

Cheers.

I just got fitted last week for my new Titleist irons (T200). I purchased them Friday and saw the new irons at the Memorial. Is it worth holding off for the newer generation? Does anyone know the differences between the current T200 and the newer ones. Thanks

Titleist hasn’t made any official announcements or comments on the new clubs. There’s only assumptions. I’m guessing the ‘official’ info won’t be released until after the US Open. Also read earlier, Titleist reps won’t be trained or see these until end of June timeframe.

They are actually seeing them and being fit for them this week.  Titleist Staff and Ambassadors see them and get fit the last two weeks of June.

I play the z745 and used a rental set of t200 last month at Ballybunion. The T200 looks ginormous compared to them and feel like crap. I hated them.

Edit: But I agree. I think Titleist is going after the p770, zx7 apex pro, etc market with the T150. T200 is P790, rogue pro, zx5 territory,

Personally, I'd hold off. At the very least, I'd imagine discounts on the current gen will be available as retailers/fitters clear out their inventory.

I agree with holding off.  Today my pro said our fitting day is scheduled for July and Titleist is releasing earlier than previous releases.

It just depends if you want to wait another season for clubs. Even if you place or by August 1st, they probably will not ship until late September.

I got fitted into the TM P7MC earlier this year but it was a toss up at the time between them and the T100. I partly chose the P7MC because they were newer and shinier! 😉

Loving the look of the new T100 and T150 and can already feel another set of irons coming to my bag later this year. Perhaps a blended set with T100 short/middle and then T150 in the longer irons (depending of course on the final specs between the two... am hoping they will lend themselves to blending without too much manipulation).

Also look like they will go nicely looks wise with the JDM Vokey Forged wedges!

Hmm... how do I break this to my wife ... 🤔

Hopefully there’s even less offset in the t100 🤞

Get the last version of the T100S and bend weak if you want small and little offset?
