Thinking about ordering one directly from TaylorMade. Question - it’s available to ship on 4/21. Anyone ever receive a club from TM before or on the actual release day? Or do they literally ship on that day and you get it a few days after?

That looks really great! When I was in middle and high school, I played Burner irons (loved them) and had a Burner Oversized 3 Wood that I used for a driver. Seeing this brings back such great memories!!

Since some will hit it off the ground, TM probably decided a metal face offered more durability and offered enough weight savings to get an acceptable blend of CG adjustment and forgiveness.

The double weighting system will allow for a lot of different shaft lengths, short or long, and maintain swing weight. That's something I wanted to see in their previous mini drivers. You could theoretically put two heavy weights in this head and play a mini driver at 42.5" and be at about D3-D5 or two light weights and play it at 45" and get a similar swing weight.

I'm not sure for those in the US, but in Canada when I've ordered all my TM equipment this year it has been built and arrived in 1-3 days. It's insane. I ordered a custom mini 13.5 on Monday and it is built and going to be here tomorrow lol ... from mexico. TM is destroying the supply chain game this year.
