These are beautiful, but I need to know the custom weight options, etc.

 

I find with the blades I have (MyTP) the weight piece is always the challenge, hard to find actual TM weights (Which I was able to get eventually), inconsistent availability, most are forced to go w/aftermarket knock offs at times, etc. The same issue has also plagued those wanting to go w/custom weight options for Spider X as well...

 

But these are great looking sticks!

This release reminds me of Wilson Staff's latest line of milled putters - nice looking things, but not particularly innovative or eye-catching. Unless you're a big TM fan or the putter just suits you perfectly (feel, look at address, whatever), at that price point I don't know why you'd opt for one of these putters over most anything else on the market that either (1) has most interesting technology, or (2) has resale value.

Absolutely! I'm honestly stunned! Literally every putter that debuted today has LH as an option. I might pull the trigger on one soon. I was thinking about a custom putter...but this made me pause that search. These look amazing.

I just got off the phone with their customer service to specifically ask about the LH B13 slant and B29 flowneck.

 

The B13 slant has a toe hang of 38°

The B29 flowneck has a toe hang of 47°

 

The B13/B29 head weight at 34" is 352 grams with two 10 gram weights

 

The B13/B29 head weight at 35" is 342 grams with two 5 gram weights.

I read elsewhere that there are no plans for a 'MyTP Reserve' program which is unfortunate, as I believe this is such a wonderful customization feature. This may make me wait a bit as I made use of this offerring w/my current TP blades illustrated below....

The M27 needs a top line aide. Glad to see Taylormade come out with a milled line up but nothing to sway me from my Scotty Cameron Phantom X7. Which I switched to from a Spider.

Correct. Looks like the patent was awarded to Harold Swash in 1995 and patents were good for 20 years at that point so expiration was 2015.

I agree. And they will probably make this release obsolete in like 8 months when they release an 'upgraded' lineup

Well there was always several people going "Wilson is nothing like they used to be, they need an update for the times" so Wilson did that and everyone b*tched. So no idea what people want these days, probably nostalgia, performance and no cost.

They are super high quality stainless steel putters. One of the best putters of the year IMO. Just no one uses them.

The 8802 milled is very nice.  Better than what I've seen of the TM Reserve, but haven't seen them in person

I popped into my local PGATSS today and pitted around with them.  I personally enjoyed the feel and look of them especially the M21 with the plumbers neck.  I do like how clean they are. 

I’m heavily contemplating if it’s worth the price tag since there aren’t a ton of that style with the plumbers neck on the market.

I am intrigued by the M33. May have to give one of those a roll. 

 

That said, I do NOT like the headcover for the mallets. Just the big green R on it instead of the sublimated TaylorMade like the blades get. Very meh....

It depends on what you're after, a name on your putter or a milled putter which has reviewed/tested quite well.

 

Kind of feel for Wilson you have to pitch your products to match the competition, but most folks don't perceive their value to match, no matter how good they are.

 

Wilson could sell them at cost and we'd hear, "They must be cheap junk!"

I keep finding myself rolling some putts with the B11 when I stop by the golf store. It’s a really nice blade.
