New Titleist irons - 2023 Memorial

I read somewhere that indicated black & silver would both be at launch.

I read the same thing in the article on the Golfwrx home page.  It didn't confirm it, but definitely made it seem like a black option was going to be available in all models.  We'll see, I will confirm after my fitting in late June.

I hope that the T350 isn't a combination of the T300 and T400, with lofts between the two.  That would result in what has been a nice game improvement club with way too strong lofts - like the Mizzy Hot Metals (7-iron 28.5*).  T300 7-iron at 29* is already too strong - but can easily be bent 1* to 30* 7-iron.  The T-400 7-iron is 26*, which is pretty much outrageous.  That is really a 5-iron with the shaft length of a 7-iron (no good).

In the piece written by Ton Covey (elsewhere) he seems to think it will go the other way, be a bit slimmed down version of the previous T300 and only pure speculation but with Forged being on the hosel (assuming it's the face only)  maybe it will be more like the Wilson D9 Forged, more of a players GI iron.  So I could see the lofts remaining at least the same if not going weaker by 1 degree.

I'm assuming these will be released around August/September like the last T series release. Can anyone confirm an estimated month for these to release?

They will definitely be earlier this year,  information I have heard from people at Titleist is public fittings starting in mid to late July with shipments beginning shortly after that, so likely early august slight chance of late July.

Hearing from a couple who have hit already that they are seeing a little increased launch with the T100 so will be interesting to hear the official "tech" when released...

T150's will be going straight in my bag to replace my current set. Will order day 1.

Likely the T200 4 iron combo again. Bit bummed that the T200 finish is different, otherwise I would have got a full set of black.

This. Take my money. Exact setup haha

Seemed to be the comment in this video, getting more launch and better feel. Not sure I like the sound of the first one, I went with the t100 for the consistency above the t100s but still forgiving and traditional lofts were similar to my 620CB, but they offered the 50 gap wedge. I’d like a slightly softer feel but everything else to stay exactly the same

Or they could be going the other way.  The T400 never really fit as a Titleist iron - other companies do that part of the spectrum better - Cleveland Halo, TaylorMade Stealth HD, etc.  Titleist probably doesn't want to play in that ball park, so they make the T300 a bit more offset, and a bit more T400'ish.

Hope not.

I agree the T400 is not Tiltiest best thing. But I don’t think they are going away from it.   I said in other post.  I look for it to come out in early 2024 like they have done with the other moderate swing speed and older golfer like like TSi/R 1    Announce at the PGA Show

Anyone have any information on the black finish? I'm kind of hoping they considered a raw black finish like Miura so that the wear spots don't look so horrific.

Thank god they used a player that doesn't have a hackers brush on his belt loop.

I’m pumped for these but I’m genuinely curious - Has anyone ever released a club they said felt worse than the one before? There have certainly been differences - I.e. - I thought the last iteration of T-100 felt much better than the initial version but every company says every iron has improved feel. I’m officially an old grump…..

I am looking forward to testing, I have always found Titleist irons look perfect to my eye at address (MB,CB, t100) but have been somewhat lacking in feel. Just my opinion, but if they are feeling better I certainly will be tempted to splash the cash

Because I would like the T-200 in shape and forgiveness. The plastic in and of itself is NOT the issue. It is the subsequent AWEFUL feel and sound that I cannot get over.

This was my feeling as well.  I can't stand the sound of my T200s right now.  I was hoping they addressed that

Darn it I just replaced my T100/T100S combo set with ZX7/Z Forged II combos and now these drop and they look even better! If the topline is as thin as mine I may have to take the lump on the Srixons.

I hope the black T series irons will follow the same trend as before! I just got the recent black t100, it would be a shame not to get a couple seasons with them in! HAHA Those new ones are so clean tho!

Almost looks like the T100's are becoming a CB replacement and the 150's are more in the AP2 vein. Wonder if they are planning to phase out the CB? Someone has probably already mentioned this so apologies if i missed that. But these all look great, no surprise from Titleist.

Has anyone tried to hotmelt the 2021 T100 in the bottom cavity between the two tungsten weights to quiet them down a hair?  Love everything about them, they are just a touch clicky compared to my old Mizuno MP 18 SC.  I noticed the tour issue T200 has a hotmelt port right in the low middle of the back cavity.  Wonder if it would make any difference?

Looks are important but the feel/sound will be what I am most interested in for this release.  From a looks standpoint, both the T100 & T150 (FKA T100s) are very similar to the 2021 versions which is a good thing in my opinion.  Hard to beat the looks of the 2021 T100s but they didn't match the 2019 version in the feel department.  The 7-4 irons with the speed slot and SUP10 face are very clicky.  I personally prefer the offset, blade length and look of the 2021 T100s but the feel of the 2019 version.

I may be in the minority but would like it if they kept the T100 and T150 as identical twins in regards to offset, blade length etc... but from the initial reports looks like there will be a slight separation.  That said I can handle it if they went back to the size of the 2019 version but not if they creep too close to the T200.

At this point I have gapped my bag and yardages to the lofts of the T100s after playing them for the last 5 + years but I may have to pivot to more standard lofts and gaps to get the feel I want or just go old school and keep playing my 2019 T100s (or move onto the ZX7 MKII's because they feel incredible).
