Ok I'm gonna go against a popular sentiment here, but Morgan Pressel is by far the best announcer in women's golf. She's knowledgeable, respectful, and have compassion for the players. She's the advocate I believe the players need.

 

Grant Boone is good for the most part, but he really sours me by his gushing admiration of Linn Grant and his justification of her anti-vaccination. He also should also learn to say Rose name correctly (It's Jang). At least Tom Abbott can do that.

There’s more substance in any given minute of Pressel’s commentary than in Azinger’s entire broadcasting career.

Michelle Wie has other priorities in her life right now and is financially secure.  But she has a journalism degree from Stanford that she could use as an announcer at some point.  I wonder if she has the on-camera presence and other skills needed to succeed in role like that.
