Best Hoodie for golf

I’m seeing a lot of these on your guys warming up and after the round. Anyone know what they are wearing. Seem to be thin but comfy and form fitting.

Most brands these days are coming out with thin hoodies. I know Rhoback gets a lot of love but again pretty much every brand has one now.

As already mentioned, just about every golf (and non-golf) apparel company is making hoodies these days.

Peter Millar Pine Hoodie and Holderness & Bourne Jackson Pullover are my favorites. Hood on the Peter Millar is shorter/smaller than H&B

The Peter Miller pine looks great. I did a Google search  and saw a Rhoback hoodie that looks awesome too just never heard of the company.

Rhoback are great.  The newer ones seem to be a more lightweight material than the original hoodie offerings.  Maybe that's just the patterned hoodies though, not sure.  

 

I have a lightweight hoodie from Black Quail that I really like as well.

I have 3 of the pine performance from PM, great hoodie, no strings, no huge oversized hood, great fit.

I like the hoodies from Peter Millar, Johnnie-O, Linksoul and Leve  But my total fave is the Pimento Cheese Hoodie from Pins and Aces-check out their website.

I just bought one from skinsgolf; it is a polyester blend that's perfect midpoint between cotton hoodie and lightweight t-shirt hoodie.

So for ref I wear M in the H&B hoodie and S in the Peter Millar. I do S in H&B polos but don’t do any Peter Millar polos, just the outerwear mostly. Pretty much small across the board unless it’s the tailored fit (Crown Crafted), then I do M. Believe the Pine hoodie is Crown Sport

it’s my only issue with PM. Their summer comfort polos are the crown sport run on the bigger side where crown crafted are more fitting.  The pine and most of their outerwear runs small to me.  I wear an XL in summer comfort or crown sport polos but a XXL in pine and PM outerwear and almost need a 3X

Yeah someone gave me 2 PM sweaters and both are XXL the polos fit me really well but the sweaters are snug on me, they're even slimmer than the Featherweight material polos they have. Maybe when the fall rolls around I'll have lost enough weight to wear them.

I got a 1/4 zip from Johnnie-O it's so freaking comfortable, like I wore it a ton during the winter and early spring. I need to get more from them.

This is the answer. The Pine hoodie is a bit more technical, so it depends a bit on the weather. I prefer the PM for golf, and the HB for after golf and cooler weather.

Looks great.  Hope they updated it.  Too many reviews on their site about pilling for me to risk on a $170 hoodie.

The PM is hard to beat. Fits great as a layer under a vest as well. Pretty much my go to option on the fall.

Second this, fit is perfect and feel is super comfortable. True all-rounder.
