I’m a digger but don’t make trenches or anything so nothing excessive. This was a very good strike that took a divot. I used a CBX Zipcore 50°. I was very surprised to see how chewed up the cover was. Like I said, could’ve been a dud. But at $60/dozen I don’t want to take that chance.

I knew it!  If you would've been using a Callaway JAWS raw wedge then none of this would have happened.  😉

These are finally releasing to us plebs who couldn't test before hand tomorrow! Can't wait to get the Tour X in hand for some sim time.

From so many reviews here and online it seems faster, better spinning on irons but still low spin enough off the driver to really make it the perfect ball for my game!

Has any higher speed player compare these to the Titleist left dash? I’m a long time left dash player and I have not found a ball that is anywhere close as good.

Hearing this could be the one though.

Bridgestone Tour BX is mighty close! I had the chance with my coach to have some Trackman time testing my carry numbers, and at the end I set Dash, BX and CSX LS down for some fun. Dash and BX I could barely separate for carry, spin, anything really. Worth a shot if you haven’t tried!

Golftown took the link for them off their website in Canada today as it was linking to nothing and have not updated it as of yet. Have gift cards burning a hole for these.....

😲 That's no joke! I saw this on the course against - dash and CTX.  CT is hot.   I need a little more time with the new BX (thanks to member @belh22 ) but I can safely say it's also a very good ball.  Slightly more firm feeling than last model.  Once I get better weather I'll test against CT and CTX

So the new BX is firmer than the ‘22 BX? How would you rate the feel of the new BX vs the CTX?

IMO yes.  If I could equate it to musical terms, the new BX has a higher pitch than prior gen and def a little more firm than CTX.  The cover on the BX feels more clicky, especially around the greens.  Reminds me a little of Chrome Tour in feel.  Not a bad thing at all for those that like a little firmer feel.

Played 19 holes Trackman simulator today with the Chrome Tour X. Absolute rocket launcher! Feel is firm to me but absolutely not clicky. It definitely has a powerful feel off all clubs. Feel switches nicely though on partial wedge shots and putter. Definite feel upgrade over Chrome Soft X in all short game scenarios.

I am extremely impressed in my limited play time and can't wait to get it outside in the spring for real flight visualization.

This thing I think is going to be a massive win for Callaway though.

Just received my 12 dozen Chrome Tours with triple track.  Gonna miss the CSX.  But set for golf balls for the year!

Very curious to try the new CTs - I've always loved the CS w/ TT but have moved on to the MF Tour due to price point. Might have to pick up a dozen this season to try out!

In a small sample size, tried the Tours against my gamer Left Dash today. Totally subjective, but Dash felt softer off the irons and firm off the woods, while it was switched with the CT. I could tell pretty quickly that I liked the CT feel better than the CSX LS. I hit GW, 6i and Driver in my limited bay time. Wedge and 6i launch, spin and carry were very similar, with almost negligible differences. With driver, CT launched on average about two  degrees lower (though I attribute that more to dynamic loft on my end) and spun on average 100 rpms less, with a 1 mph gain in ball speed. I was not swinging my best, but impressed for sure by the new ball and want to test it over the course of a couple of sessions.

Wow, it's crazy to see ball speed jump up that much from a simple ball change.  Now I gotta go get me a box or two, lol.  Do you suggest the CTX or CT for me?  I prefer a firmer ball that doesn't spin too much with irons.

I would go CT all day.  CTX will spin with irons (as per design)

But, I would also pick up a sleeve of CTX at some point and give them a whirl for fun

For those that have been testing the CT and CTX, is one supposed to be "hotter" or longer than the other?   Similar to how left dash is longer than Prov1X is longer than Prov1.

CT Hotter longer, lower spin.  Comparable to -Dash but a little softer feeling.

Have you been able to hit them on grass by any chance? I don't have an issue stopping the Dash here in WI, but would always take a little bit more check up spin on the pitches.

I'm in Louisiana so I've had some good course time with them both.  CT has plenty of grab around the green, just not as much as CTX.  I feel like CT has a little more green side spin than -Dash but, in winter on these firm and dormant Bermuda greens it's a little hard to see.

Watching this video confirms everything I've been saying about "feel" with Chrome Tour.   I thought when I first tested it was the more firm out of CT and CTX.  Mikey says it and Ian goes "huh, really??" 😂
