A nosy neighbor that may spy on you have released their data. Discuss. I am most surprised (and a bit sad) at how bad the new Snell did. Luckily I stocked up on some MTB-X yellow when they found some loose ones a few weeks ago. I play the Vice Pro Plus if I'm not playing a ProV1, and the tests confirm that the Vice Pro Plus are indeed long as F

The test results on the TP5 and TP5x are interesting.

Of the soft balls, I have always thought the Vice Pro Soft to really performed well. Not too surprised to see it perform well in the test.

Concur.  The Vice Pro Plus is a monster.  At my swing speed 90mph, the Vice Pro Plus and the Wilson Triad are big winners. Great showing by Srixion.

Yes, the XV and Diamond performed well across the board. Right there with the ProV1/x.

Interesting read as always. Definitely going to be giving the Z Star Diamond a try vs my Tour BX based on the data. Also going to give the Vice Pro Plus a look since I’ve only tried the Pro in the past.

Yes. They didn't perform well in this test.

Saw the same thing.  I was kinda surprised.  I like the TP5x from t to green.  Been playing it for a few cycles now.  I can play the Pro v1x too, similar attributes to be honest.  In the data sort section, the 1x smokes the 5x.

It is a bit shocking in some areas. Good example is at the 85 mph driver speed. In this test, the TP5 was 12 yards (!) shorter in carry distance compared to the Vice Pro Plus and ZStar Diamond. 10 yards compared to the ProV1. That's significant, especially at that swing speed.

10 yards total distance difference on slow driver swing between Triad and Tour Response.  Okay, that's a lot for me.  I'd pay good money for a driver that gets me 10 more yards.  This year it seems like TM will be the company that gets mad at the spies.

In the 100 mid range the 5x was 10yds or so shorter than 1x with driver.  Interesting.  I have read on wrx this version of the 5 and 5x arent perhaps up to prior generation snuff.

Also - the Callaway chrome soft x ls seems to do well in that mid area, which I am in terms of speed.  Ive actually never hit a Callaway ball, might try one this weekend.

In the mid range too I believe.  10yds would have won me the long drive yesterday in the outing I was in.  Seriously.  The guy that beat me did so by approx 5yds.  Prolly a Pro V1x too lol.

So in the mid area - the TP5x gives up 9.3yds to the Pro V1x and 8.1 yds to the Cally Chrome Soft LS with the driver.  Spin is the highest with the TM ball.  Thats a pretty big difference if you ask me.  On the irons, the 3 are within like 5yds of one another and spin is nearly the same, which I can live with since my game with irons isnt about distance.  I want exact yardages as close as I can get.

As I have no memory left to my own devices, me being in this thread has reminded me that a couple weeks ago in my favorite place Miles of golf Cincy location - one of the pro shop guys highly recommended the Callaway ball to me - said I needed to really try it.

Most of the time it is in the front of the store, by the cash register. They definitely have them.

As mentioned by others, lots of places to find sleeves at brick and mortar/pro shop locations.  DSG/GG offer some online.

I don’t like the LS version, feels like a rock to me. The CSX and Tour BX are the best two balls for me. However, based on this new test, I’m going to try the Z Star Diamond as well.

Same thoughts there, I play the TP5x and was shocked about the performance. May give left dash prov1x or the standard prov1x a shot (I have 113 driver club speed). The left dash looks like it crushed it

I love the Vice Pro Plus at my 115-120 SS, give them a try too. The lime green and orange/yellow fade are amazing for these aging eyes.

I don't think the tpx is quite as bad as they make it look, kind of. From a launch and spin perspective everything is higher, so in theory you can just lower the loft on your head and you should get a better result with lower launch and spin. This matches up with what I have experienced on course with it where I had to loft my driver down a little to get the best out of it if the tee. The ball speed is just bad though.
