I've been using and been VERY happy with my Pure Midsize DTX grips. Sadly they are going out of business which is a real shame so I will have to find a new favorite grip. I bought 2 sets when I heard the news.

This year I've been using CP2 Wrap standard with two wraps under them. I really like them -- except on really hot or rainy days, because they're not the tackiest when wet.

At some point I'll probably switch to a full set of Gripmaster Roos. Just trying to decide whether to go with standard plus a couple wraps or up to midsize, which I've had on wedges before and really liked.

There is absolutely no chance an Iomic sticky grip has worn out in a month unless you A.) have a counterfeit or B.) just need to wipe it down with hot soapy water

I got it from AdoreGolfGrips which I think is relatively reputable.

there were two spots, one on the upper handle which I've included a pic of, which must be some sort of bag wear. and one where my right thumb normally is when my grip has started to wear a lot more than the end of the grip..it wasn't loads of wear, just normal wear and tear I guess, but definitely noticeable, and I kind of liked having a reference point with the wear.

I washed them down with warm soapy water when cleaning my clubs after every round too. I normally play 3 times a week plus a range session once a week.

since I posted I have installed a GP MCC grip on my driver

*Edit* I've just remembered I have a Red Iomic Sticky 2.3 on my backup driver, which I've only played about 3 rounds with since I put it on and it looks a lot more durable than the ''Black Army'' 2.3 color was.. strange

Grip Master Master perforated grips.  Insane tackiness, like they have pine tar on them.  These are the best if you prefer to play without a glove.  There's no better grip in humidity or rain.

I also like the Lamkin Crossline Genesis Cord and Tour Velvet.

Huh yeah I wonder if there is something about the way that one is dyed that makes that happen, especially if it was noticeably wearing near the thumb.

The solid color ones seem completely impenetrable and I've heard of so many people that use the same Iomics for 4+ seasons with almost no wear

just normal dish soap, never had a problem using it on other grips.. but like @rooski touched upon, maybe there is a problem with the way the ''black army 2.3'' is made with 2 different colors compared to the solid color ones. I don't know.

Luv this!  I played over the course of thirty odd years with two regional pros that had a real rivalry with each other.  They hated getting beat by each other, really pissed.  I asked once during a round what they cleaned their grips with knowing well the answer but it started the argument. Comet, has to be Comet only.  You can’t use Comet, you have to use BonAmi, only BonAmi.  I still laugh over those few minutes every time  I clean my grips.

Iomic Sticky Midsize.  Been using these exclusively for over ten years and love the feel, they don't absorb water and they last forever.

Occasionally wipe down with wet towel or if you really want to get them tacky wipe them down with acetone every month or two.

Considering trying the new Sticky 2.3 which is between the 2.0 and Midsize.

The "standard" 2.0 is actually undersized in my opinion.

If you like cord, the Lamkin UTX cord is absolutely the goldilocks of grips.  Cord is just as good as the Golf Pride Tour Velvet Cord, but it's just a smidge softer and tackier allowing (for me) much better grip and feel of the club.

Interesting to see so many iomic sticky responses, I have had one in my driver for years and like it. They last forever.  What’s weird is you don’t see any tour players use them. I think Dj used them back in the day for awhile but hasn’t since. Fleetwood might have used them as well? Not sure if they take the feel out of irons for tour players?

The tour velvet variants are good when fresh but man they get hard and wear out fast. I don’t have a tour truck nearby to get new grips whenever I want.

The multi compound I’ve used for years and last pretty well. I’d like to try z chord.

Was a big fan of the Lamkin UTX for a long time. But then a few years ago they got hard to find for some reason 🙄. Then went with Pure DTX, a similar surface texture to the UTX for me but a bit softer. Now Pure is going out of business so on the search again. You can still find UTX grips but not easily. Heard the Lamkin ST2+ Hybrid is the successor to the UTX so am trying those out. A dual zone concept with enough texture on the high end for good power on the grip but softer on the low end for comfort and control. I like it so far (2 weeks) but am waiting to see what durability is like for the long haul.

GP tour velvet 360 is what im

gaming now. Preferred them because there was not “golf pride” on the grip. I think they wear faster than the regular GP TV. Will likely go back to the tour velvet and have the logo down.

currently gaming Garsen Max on my putter. Helped a lot with my putt stroke first 6ish months. Might go pistol grip next. Have a little yips situation going on.

If you like a TV type grip... Royal M Taper 360's are great and last forever. 52g and no extra taping required to get a slight reduced taper.

One wrap and you're good. $3.99.

I've been using a grip many of you may have never heard of: Avon Chamois.

My grandpa had these on his irons.  They used to market them to people with arthritis, but there's really nothing about them that make them specific to arthritis sufferers.  They are normal size and aren't especially cushioned.  Regardless, I really like them.  After he died I played with them for several years and really like the grips.  When I got a new set I put Avon Chamois on them as well.  They are just the most comfortable to me and really keep their grippy-ness for a long time.  They aren't tacky, but just give a comfortable grip that does not seem to get slick.  I have them on my driver and hybrids right now.  I recently bought new irons and wedges that came with Tour Velvet grips and honestly they are fairly close in feel to the Chamois, so I don't plan to replace them until they get slick.  At that point I'll have to decide whether to go with Tour Velvet again or with the Avon Chamois.  Avon grips aren't that easy to find (I've gotten them off of eBay that last couple of times I've needed them) so they may be discontinued at some point. I have no idea.

Any other Avon Chamois fans out there?  This is what I'm talking about:

…Amazon Champkey Oversized Corded grip…

I prefer a corded grip.

I’m a fan of all the Champkey Hybrid Corded Grips. It’s one of the few (if not only) jumbo corded grip I’ve found.
Weights are consistent and they last a long time.
