My club submitted it on 2/12 so well before the actual pre order date. Apparently, it didn't make a difference ordering that far in advance.

Putter complete and it’s by far the best feeling performing putter I’ve had.  I’m sleeping with her now.  Put Stability Tour Black shaft on and my own grip.  It’s incredible.

Looks like brooks switched to what appeared to be a 5.5. Weird seeing him with a mallet.

Rolled the new Phantoms today.  In my opinion the feel and sound is much improved from the last generation.  Didn't pull the trigger just yet.  Can't decide.  Liked the 5.5 and thought this would be the one, but left really impressed with the 9.5.

Just got mine and I'm gutted, it had a dent in it from the wrapper! And the grip is installed so that it sits closed af, expected more from Scotty Cameron assembled in the USA. Have to return this one..

Something I like about this version is it looks like they fixed the 'ball width' lines on the back.  The previous ones were too narrow.

Just got back from the practice green and this thing is money. The tinkerer in me also pulled the head to get head weight which is 364g with 15g weights. Probably going to put my black stability shaft on this evening.

I just put one in my 5.5 and it’s beautiful.  To me it made the club feel even softer.  I’ve always played a SS in my putters but this one is hands down the best now.   Although the new Scotty grips are nice I did also have my grip of choice put on as well.

I didn't throw it on the scale but can tonight. Grip is a bit lighter and length is the same at 34.5".

Swing weight is now at E6 and the original steel shaft with stock grip at 82g was marked at E4. The grey red star cord is 8g lighter so that contributed to the higher swing weight with the Stability shaft.

Nice! That's a very good SW for a Scotty Mallet IMO. My X12.5 in Stability Tour @ 33,5" is E5.

 

Got do some outdoor testing on the 7.5 today, on an artificial matt but still could have a real feedback on the acoustics and the feel. I can now for sure say the tingy click the 2022 X7.5 had outside is gone, it's actually a very silent contact sound even on a harder compressor ball like the new ProV1X.

 

 

With the paddle grip I felt that it maybe promotes a bit more of a straight stroke, not sure I like it or maybe the weight is a bit different. Might have to test it on real greens before I make any adjustements.

 

Here is quick comparison pic of the 7.5 vs X7.5.
