New Ventus Blue 65.5g has 95 tip and 86 butt

TR Blue 68g has 94 tip and 82 butt

 

My 2013 Fuel Tour Spec 65g has 95 tip and 78 butt is closer to Ventus TR Black.

 

I have only put in a few swings on the 2024 Ventus Blue so far but I think it is a very similar feel to the original Ventus Blue. While the numerical difference might look to be small, the handle section feels softer than TR Blue. I will get a few more swings in with it today and will definitely compare the 3 Blue models soon.

I play Ventus blue 6x/tx in driver & 7x in fairway. It’s an amazing product. I’d love to see some data from tour player testing/“enzo” to show the upside in the new product. It looks great & I may buy one for fun but I’m struggling with how I’ll get more ballspeed when I’m getting 1.49/1.50 smash on good swings.

I saw an interview with someone from Fuji claiming that 85% of players were getting an extra 2-3 mph BS. 

 

That's a big claim and I've placed my order for the ai Smoke Max with the 5X, I figure I've got a month to change the shaft to something else if the reviews don't meet the claims.

Possibly if they were actually fit into the shaft (by the Fujikura staff) vs. buying off-the-rack/not fitted. But yeah, 85% for 2-3 mph ball speed is a big claim. Unfortunately, most fitters don’t give quite the TLC as the Fujikura fitters with Enzo technology in their fitting studio. 
 

With that said, mine will be here next week to go into my PXG Black Ops driver. Was fitted into the older model when fitted at PXG. Was super straight and hard to get offline. Decided to wait and hold out for the newer 2024 model. Hopefully it’s a seamless transition.

The new shaft graphics in general look great. I just spent an hour testing equipment in my Tx Blue. Only getting 1.48-1.49 smash at 115 club head speed. Maybe this is the missing link 🤣

They had different release dates with the original versions too. Blue was in the spring of 2019 and black and red were released together later in the fall. I’m thinking they’ll come out a lot sooner, but probably wanted to get the blues out the door first since it’s targeted towards a bigger market of golfers.
