Mine is almost done. Dave has been amazing to work with and I can't wait to do a proper review on my new putter when she arrives. Here is a teaser pic from today.

I have never used a putter with a slot cut behind the face. I am wondering the purpose. Does it give that higher pitched "ping" sound or does it make it feel softer? What is the benefit or negative to them? Thanks, trying to design my first machine.....

its both, it has more of a "click" sound, plus some would say it feels a bit softer. you could also argue it maaaay be more forgiving but i dont think thats ever been proven. i have had a scotty newport beach with it, and a ping milled anser with it - both were great feeling putters. i would suggest trying one to get the feel and see if its for you or not. its really just preference. good luck!

Lol. I was going to ask the same thing. Classic St George's Cross. Looks great btw, though I am biased, being English myself.

I like both theories but never thought about either one. For several years i've marked my golf balls with a red cross for alignment on putts and tee shots. This design was a natural extension of that practice.

Only time I received an update is when I kept sending emails everyday. Finally got an update, but seems to be hit and miss.

Kinda getting frustrated to be honest.

I need to order a new headcover sometime. My magnet is about to fall out of one side. I must really suck at taking this one on and off because it has lasted about 4 months and my Velcro Scotty headcover looks better after 12 years.

My blue cover that came with my Machine...I've only had it out on the course about 8 rounds max & I've already lost a magnet out of both sides.

Weird that you guys are having issues with your Machine headcovers I never have had an issue with mine. I will say spend the extra $$$ and get a custom machine headcover. They're made by Delilah and the quality is amazing. Also Dave and team have created some very cool designs for them. I almost always go for the new ones that are custom because they're worth it in every way shape and form.

I actually purchased a black Delilah one too, but use the one they sent with the putter. The Delilah one is definitely top notch I will say.

My first custom I sent Dave a ton of emails and messages and he responded back every time. I almost felt bad how many I sent him but it wasn't his busy time of year so he got back to me very quickly. This time around I'm trying to be understanding that if he is answering my email he's probably not building putters which is way more important with the holiday coming up. He's probably putting in 15 hrs days easily

I personally think the key for small business is to maintain that customer service and quick response time to their customers. The worst you can do is take on too much and not deliver...
