Check out the custom length plumber's neck on Maverickping's DH89 above. The neck was trimmed and welded back on slightly shorter , so it has more toe hang with a PN look. CUSTOM.

That German Stainless Epic Day is just AWESOME.
For some reason, I putt best with MyDay and 8802 style putters. I have no idea why this is, as they aren't very compatible.

I'm just guessing here, but they both work well for arching swings? When I demoed the Epic Day the wedge shape it has really makes me want to swing back on an arch. When you look down on the trailing edge it points back to the inside and that's where I wanted to swing it. The 8802 just has all that toe hang and wants to arch around.

Has anyone else noticed one of the absolute coolest things on Byron's Bomboras, like the one in post #306? It is the face milling. No, not the fact that it is Tuna Milling with big fish hanging upside down. It is something cooler.
Look at the milling and how the bottom of the Tuna, their noses, if you will, all follows the radius of the sole of the putter.
When I first noticed this detail, I went thru every putter in my shop and checked to see if it was something that everyone did, that I had just never noticed. NO WAY!
I know HOW it is done, I also know that I have NEVER seen it on another maker's putter. THIS is why guys who know Byron and are fans or just respect his work SO much, know that as putter makers go, HE is the KING. His attention to small details like this sets him apart from the guys who do it all from written programs or make one or two putters a year for HUGE money. There is room for all of the guys to exist and make very nice putters, but Byron Morgan is at the top, in my book, when it comes to setting the bar high.

I am the proud owner of that putter, it set's up very nice, weather you put upright or a little on the flat side, the feel is incredible,,,,
