Help Catch a Golf Club Thief

I received the following email from some friends in the local section of the PGA. It is being circulated in an attempt to catch a thief who stole some equipment from a course pro shop. In the photos, you can see him shove what appears to be a Scotty Cameron putter down his pants (Jokes about that are welcome - just please take a look at the photos to see if you know the guy.)

Dear __PGA Professionals,

The staff at _____________ Golf Club would like your assistance in identifying the individual on the right side of these photos, as he is a suspect in a merchandise theft. If you have any information regarding this, please contact head professional, _____________, PGA. He can be reached at ____________ or by email at _______.

I removed all identifying contact info to avoid the possibility of spam from automated internet email/phone # farming programs, so please shoot me a PM if you recognize the "gentleman." I can tell you that the course where this happened is located in Central Texas but, of course, that doesn't mean the suspect is from there.

They showed up fine for me in Post Preview and reviewing the thread after I posted, but I edited the post, deleted the image, and this time I re-posted it using manual tags instead of the button. Does the image show up now?

I'll bet that this loser goes from shop to shop in different states. Looks like he has the new "Docker's Putter Lockers" on. Extra long front pocket! You might want to take a look at the person possibly distracting the cashier. A lot of these dirtbags work in pairs. Hopefully the guy that eventually catches him is an angry SOB, and gives him the heavy end of the Cameron across his knee caps. Just sayin'....

This would be a great time to implement convenience store justice. Which is, (as I've heard) the guy behind the counter doesn't turn you over to the cops but gets to beat you with whatever you stole....

Weird. I've checked in different browsers, cleared my cache, and on different computers, and it shows up in all of them.

a lot of places have those detectors on clubs that will set off an alarm. a friend who has a golf shop lost a few clubs that way. the customer would ask for a new grip and then walk out while the guy was working. in our local area, they are going to send a guy who stole from golf bags to prison for 2 years. he made the mistake or ripping off a world series ring from a former dodger.
