2013 Callaway Razr Fit Xtreme Driver: Pics & Tech Specs

This is the difference from address with both heads being 10.5 lofts. The Razr Fit on the right is the standard model, but head shapes between that and the TA are identical. The Razr Fit Xtreme is going to offer lower spin, better ball speed on misses, and similar forgiveness in a smaller look.

I meant ANY other brand of driver, ie Titleist, TMAG, Adams, Cobra, Cleveland, Ping etc etc

This is the one that is in the drivers seat as I love my Razr Fit and if Cally Improved on that I don't know how the other OEM's can knock it off the top spot.

Really excited to demo this at the club, and I haven't been interested in a Callaway wood since I got rid of my Big Bertha.

Played a demo set of old Callaway irons over Christmas, and if I have the cash, I might build an all Callaway bag.

The new Razar fit extreme look great but I'm not sure it is worth upgrading my original Razar fit because it the best driver I have ever owned and I don't know if the performance gains would be worth the change.

Has anybody pre-ordered? I asked the rep on the phone about the double cog (see the post on page 5 of this thread regarding the double cog) and he said he didn't know about a double cog. He asked a supervisor (I assume) and came back on the line stating there is no double cog option. Was anybody able to pre-order with the double cog?

I agree. As much as I love my Razr Fit, I prefer the sound of my RBZ 3W. I like the thudded crack. The RF is on the brink of obnoxious when I'm at the range.

Not understanding your reply? The Fazr Fit because of the composite sounds muted. The Xtreme is going to be louder and more metallic. The RBZ is the metallic sound. What is obnoxious about the Razr Fit? It's fairly quiet?

I don't know, but the Razr Fit gives me a pretty significantly loud crack (much more exaggerated in the closed top range I practice at, but also on the course), while the RBZ, albeit metallic-y(?), is more muted [i]in my opinion[/i].

I got my RBZ after my Razr Fit, and the first thing I said was, "oohhh, I like that sound." My regular 4some thought the same. We like to describe it as a "muted crack."

I just need to know if I am able to call back and change my order so I can get the double cog (there is a 3 -4 week lead time on my order).

I think I'll be in the XHot Pro. It's 440cc and mid spin, which should be perfect for me. I also love the matte grey look of it and how clean it is. I havent gone through the fitting process yet though so its possible Xtreme could be better for me. My launch conditions are usually pretty horrific so having a driver to knock off a bunch of spin for me may be best.

I'll be updating my bag on 1/25 like everyone else. I will usually wait until the actual retail date to play new stuff. Don't know why I do that. Maybe just superstition.

Since I approve all those releases I'm not sure how that one got past my eye because it was a definite design objective on the Xtreme to make the sound the muted acoustics better players desire.
