That's exactly why I like it. V-Line type shape and alignment, and now that I found out they can cut the shaft to give some toe hang, even better for me.

Barely anyone uses center shafted putters thats why not many are made. Just be happy you aren't left handed and trying to find one. OEMs don't make things that don't sell, you silly jacktard.

Gosh, I love the look of all of the new Ping putters. One thing I like about most Ping putters, versus most TM, Cameron, Odyssey and other premium putters is that Ping gets the face-length right. TM's, Odysseys and many of the Camerons just look too short for my eye. It is only a matter of a few millimeters, but it is noticeable.

As for whether the Ketsch looks like a TM Manta; I'd say that the Ketsch looks like a Manta, done right.

And as for the paintfilled scoring lines, I suspect that it might change performance if the fill material (plastic? enamel?) were removed. Maybe not; I don't know. But I'd want it there, no matter what. The reason is simple. Standing over the ball, it is easy to see looking down what the face of the putter is doing. Are your hands too far back? Forward pressing too much? The scoring lines give you instant feedback. They tell your eyes what the face is doing relative to your eye position, which might be directly over the ball, but doesn't need to be. Whatever the case, there is a face-angle / eye connection with instant feedback. Yes, the newer Odysseys do the same. So do others. I like them all, for that reason. As to how the grooves help roll the ball, I'll leave that to the engineers and technicians.

You're right, but as more and more large-diameter grips (Super Stroke, etc.) are sold, they should be selling more center-shafted putters since they compliment the less-handsy stroke that the grips promote.

At least that is my humble opinion, having built a few experimental big-grip putters

The Ketsch name comes from the town where Ping's German office is located, but the putters are machined at Ping's Phoenix headquarters.

The great unwashed masses are the group PING caters to most--more than any OEM I can think of. Aside from the finish/paint on Bubba's clubs, and maybe some engraving, all of which are only cosmetic effects, I can't think of anything that's played on tour but not available to us nobodies. The WRX department is kind of awesome.

Try ordering a set of S59's with tour conforming grooves, or a set of I25's with N.S. Super Peening Blue shafts and see how far you get. I'm not saying that Ping is worse than other major OEMs and they are maybe better than most. But the tour players have available to them items which are just not there for the average golf enthusiast, in particular custom shafts, wedges and putters. This is only economic reality. But for super enthusiasts like us Wrx'ers it sometimes leaves us wanting more.
