Q star or q star tour. Perfect for my swing speed. And the fact I can find the for 16/dozen and 20/dozen at the moment is a big plus in my book. I've been stocking up.

Once I get over this back injury I'll be starting with my stash of Z Star XV trial packs (still have about 6 dozen left) then switching to the TP5 once I get my game back together. As others have mentioned, I loved the 5X but it is slightly unpredictable and I already hit a higher ball than most so the TP5 does great for me.

I tried a lot of different brand this year

CS18, CSX18, QStar Tour, BX, BXS, AVX, Snell Black, and TP5x. (TP5 last year) the ball that fit my low flight and high spin was the TP5X. Higher flight and less spin is what I needed.

Tour B XS. Been loving everything about the Bridgestone tour balls the last few years..especially the deals you can find on them. Looong through the whole set with plenty of greenside check and penetrating flight through the wind. You can keep your pro v.

Ball of choice is chrome soft X (old version), but they don't stock them at my club so I've gone for second favorite Z Star XV when I win balls in the weekend comp. Very similar performance but chrome is a tad softer which I prefer.

TP5X for me.... and it will probably stay that way as long as TaylorMade keeps making them.

I say that as a guy that has 4 boxes of brand new personalized '15 ProV1x's in the garage that are now collecting dust. I really need to just sell those Titleist balls and just move on.

This srixon deal might make me go back to the XV long term. Can’t beat $20/dozen for some of the best golf balls out there.

I did a ball fitting this past weekend, and the new Prov1x won. It blew my mind. Ive been a Taylormade guy ever since the first version of the TPx, and I never saw myself playing Titleist. The new Taylormade balls have been strange for me at times. I want a high flight, but also a lot of spin from 100 yards and in. Neither Taylormade ball this year really did both for me extremely well. The ProV1x does. Guess its time to shell out some more money...

That is the ProV1x’s wheelhouse right there.

Before you do shell out some more money, give us a try. Check out this article from Golf Digest. Not sure why you'll need to pay more money for spin...

Bought the Snell trial pack and the MTB Red seems to consistently produce pars and the occasional birdie. Also bogeys, but not very many. That's good enough for me.

Still playing Ksig, Srixon, and Snell. Just ordered some Vice tour balls. Played Pv1 for as long as I can remember. Hard to beat that ball.

I just played 9 comparing the v1x and the B-stone tour X. I'll be going with Bridgestone. They are as close in performance as I've ever seen two different balls. The buy 2 for 70 won out.

I'll have to be honest though and want to hear how you guys feel about this. I never thought of testing Taylormade, Srixon, Ksig or anyone else due to they weren't made in the USA. Did any of you guys keep that in mind or not think about it and just buy what you wanted?

Been a die hard Chrome Soft Truvis guy for the past year. Love the ball and it does everything I want it to perfectly.

But standing in front of the TP5 display last night at PGA Superstore and thinking about just how many people on here are loving this ball made me pick up a dozen to try out. **** you GolfWRX! LOL

I was playing the TP5x last year, but made the switch to the 2018 Chromesoft. I felt like I got a lot of similar characteristics as the TP5x, but with added feel/softness when putting.

^^^^ This is the same for me too! I stocked up on a few dozen of each so I will be playing them for quite awhile. My normal ball of choice is the Chrome Soft.

Not to mention that the XV is in the conversation for best ball out there, and performs about as well as anything for me, for half or less than half the price when you stock up during their deals.
