So, anyone have a problem with the Ping drivers having a severe draw bias early on and sorted them out? I want to like them, but everything with them goes left, everything else goes slightly right. The only G400 I have hit with the flight I wanted to see was a Fowler special cut down to 43.5 in an LST.

In the range I was missing it left, and I put the wait to fade and it was pretty straight.

I spent 3 days on the golf course, alternating drivers between my G400 MAX and the G410 Plus, and I have to tell you that there is no added distance from my perspective. I'm staying put with the G400 MAX

Hey man, I'm the dude

My G410 Plus has been sitting in our shop since Wednesday. It’s still in the box. Wife had an emergency c-section early Sunday morning and we’ve been in NICU since then.

Looking like Thursday will be my first chance to hit it with the correct shaft. The sample I hit with the stock Stiff went forever though.

Previous models of Ping driver did tend to be a *little* draw biased and the 400's seem to be pretty neutral or even fade biased a little bit, but not really overly so in either direction.

How about tending to your wife and newborn child instead of rushing out to hit your new golf club?

I'm assuming it's not his first...or he's got a great wife haha. Had our first in May and I didn't think about golf for the first month.

Clearly you are not a parent.

I’m sure most women would be thrilled to have their husband test golf clubs while they are at home with a newborn straight from the NICU.

Either contribute something constructive to the conversation or leave the conversation.

The person you are throwing hate towards has consistently provided solid club information to this thread. Let's end the petty bickering and get back on topic.

J9293 - let me help you ease your worries about my wife and newborn son. I’m the first assistant golf professional at a private club. I have taken the last week and a half off from work to be with my wife and newborn son in two different hospitals 45 minutes apart and lived in a LaQuinta Tuesday to Sunday. I’m goin back to work Thursday (at the shop I work in) so I can support my wife and newborn son. She’s on board with this plan as she’s taking the next three months off to focus on taking care of him and we still need income coming in.

My driver arrived last Wednesday and has been sitting in the box in my locker there since then. I apologize if me going back to work and being excited to hit a new club and report back to a group/website that I enjoy being apart of doesn’t meet your clearly lofty standard of fatherhood. I’ll strive to be a better husband/father to please someone on an Internet forum.

Sorry, this took a while to type. I’ve had two diaper and one outfit changes since I started typing.

My son turns 4 in June, been happily married for 4 years and I work at a hospital and I’m very well aware of what goes on in the NICU. You calling this guy out and assuming he is a bad parent or husband is exactly what is wrong with the world right now. Leave the guy alone and focus on yourself, go write a book about parenthood because clearly you have it all figured out.

Thanks everyone for the congratulations. It is our first kid and we couldn’t be more excited about it. He was in NICU for a week but we got to come home Sunday. He’s doing well now and we had his first pediatrician visit today and he was impressed at how good he looks for having just gone through what he did. He’s a fighter and it’ll serve him well on the course later (if he wants to play).

Regarding the driver - I’m excited to try it at 7.5° with the weight slammed in the heel with the Tensei Pro White TX. I’ll get some numbers to compare against my G400 LST as soon as I get the chance. It’s gonna have to be crazy good to unseat the king.

I hate to pile on, but that's really an asinine assumption.

Good luck with the baby boy! Truly a game changer!

(I hope I don't need to post my parenting/grandparenting resume' (it's impressive) before giving thoughts on a golf forum)
