G400 driver replacement in January

This looks like a solid offering but as Ping shot itself in the foot last year bringing out models that made 6months old products obsolete, not that excited for these models. LST and MAX launch will get my attention.

Not sure if he was hitting the hybrid or the farway wood. If you notice the videos are a bit mixed up. For example in the fairwood video they show static images of the hybrids and I am pretty sure that the swing shot in the hybrid video is the same as in the fairway video.

 

If it sound like a fariway and it looks like a fairway, hence it is a fairway.

Not to mention a 1.45 smash factor on the 410 which I rarely see him do.

Meaning that it will likely be shorter but more forgiving than other models.

Have to agree. G400LST is going to be the best Ping driver on the market until it's replaced in the future. Ping is actually on backorder for G400LST's until March which is insane.

Nothing made anything obsolete. It was a different model geared toward different needs. If someone was pissed they bought a standard G400, that's their problem.

Excellent point - it would have been better if Rick compared the G410 stats to the standard G400. I went back to his review of the standard G400 driver, but couldn't really do an apples-to-apples comparison with the G410.
