Some may wonder why I chose this picture as it is by no means Tiger’s most flattering post round pic, as it looks as though he just munched on some glass prior to striking the pose however it is the back story that makes it a keeper for me.

 

This was taken shorty after one of Tiger’s 77-78 scores in 2026 and just prior to this lil guy approaching him, and apparently the boy witnessed this, however Tiger threw(versus set or tossed) his bag into the back of his SUV and then the boy, at the prompting of his father, asked him for an autograph.

 

I’m by no means a fan boi however there are a lot of Players, many of whom are loved and considered great guys with the fans, who after a day such as Tiger had, and then to be asked in the Players’ lot, where fans normally are not around/allowed, well, they wouldn’t have posed with the child.

 

I gained a lot of respect for Tiger that day as even with his mind and emotions being where they were, he out that aside and made a child’s day and probably year.

 

Anyhoo, I thought that it should be in the books for posterity’s sake?
