It definitely launched way too high for my liking, even set at -1 degree. A lot of reviews I watched said they noticed it ballooning a bit which I could see why they said that. But it was still slightly longer and definitely overall a better experience for me than my brothers regular G400. I like the slightly larger head as well but that’s just my preference

That pretty much matches what I saw. It was easy-as-heck to hit, flew straight as an arrow, but definitely went higher than I'd like. I think I'll stick with my regular G400 (if it can get repaired problem with the adapter screw), but if I had enough time and money, and access to a launch monitor, I'd love to mess around with a lower loft G-Max and different shafts.

Recently picked a new 917D2 a set of Nike VPC 4-Aw. Put new Tour Velvet Align Grips and a new MC Align grip on my favorite hybrid. Also testing out a new putter grip...pics come as soon as I pick up the irons from being regripped!

A new shaft for my 765 Srixon driver.

The miyazaki shaft that was in it was a flex code 5544, which always seemed to soft to me.

So I found one with flex code 6666.

 

Hopefully it will warm up soon.

I thought the same thing when i first bought it but its really much smaller than it looks. I have multiple divot fixers that are larger than this one. The wedge head part is about the size of a quarter.

Upgrading from early 90's Tour Model III set (ping knock off) to Mizuno MP 60 3-PW off Ebay. I was trying for some AP2 710's but kept getting out bid. Hope I can hit them but love the look anyway. I hit some Bristol Victura irons (shot 10 over one time with this set) to see if I need more GI and I still sucked the same as the Tour Models. $109 shipped so I bet I can resell if it doesn't work out. Won't be here till next week. Can't wait.

New hybrid and 3 wood for the season. The Epic Flash being the winner was surprising, but it was clear. Even dialed to 17* I was getting better distance and accuracy over my previous 3 wood. Never surprised when a Ping hybrid wins out, and loving the Accra FX 2.0 shafts. Going to test the driver version against my VA Drago next.
