Titleist's new 915D2 and 915D3 Drivers: In-hand photos

I agree with the TEE shafts. The watered down versions I have tried have not been up to par with the "real deal" versions in the drivers. We are all salivating over the Rogues right now, but I have not seen a very good iteration in the TEE drivers as compared to the "real deal" iterations. Now it definitely is a different story with the fairway woods where the aldila rip in the cb4 and the fubuki in the cb5 fairways have been quite good.

The reps are most likely misinformed. The Rogue can't be Titleist specific with Tour Edge offering both the black and silver rogue's beginning in October with the E8 Beta driver.

The local Titleist Reps were at my club this morning fitting our pros with the 915 stuff and I got a chance to look at them (wasn't lucky enough to hit any). First off, the Rogue Silver 110 and black 95 along with the new diamana white, blue and red are going to be the stock options. I took a quick look at one of the rogue's and didn't not see anywhere on it "Made exclusively for Titleist" or anything so I'm thinking it's going to be a retail version that's not quite the tour 125 model. I could be wrong but just going on what I saw when I quickly grabbed one and took a look. The definitely look fantastic and the reps said the 915's are lower spinning with the same forgiveness. Without hitting I'd have no idea if true or not, all of our pros seemed to really like them. Definitely a different sound than my 913, but it still sounded really nice.

I didn't see much of the fairways so I can't comment much there. The pros seemed to really like them but other than that I dunno.

As you can imagine it pained me to be so close and not be able to hit them this morning.

See my post from WAY back in this thread when I said it wasn't a made for shaft, which others have stated as having heard from their reps. That's why I asked if he was joking since others have posted the same question with tongue firmly planted in cheek. :-)

The 110 and 95 MSI shafted clubs will have a xxxPOSxxx serial number. They didn't say what POS stands for...

Initial feedback they are lower spin than the 913's and a bit more spin forgiveness across the face, though, with Positive AOA and inside swing path my 913(with a TS 7.2 Speeder) would spin no problem 2200-2500.

If someone wants to beat down on the ball with driver or ultra low spin, a SLDR 430 might be a better club application, but the MOI is lower on that club and more difficult to hit.
