F&F Code was something that popped up here in error. It was meant for Cobra employees (hence, friends and family) to get 40% off anything Puma/Cobra. It leaked on here, and for a few days, people (myself included) were picking up brand new Bio Cell Plus'/Pros for about $180 or so. It was a freaking STEAL. That's what lead me to getting the Plus in the first place. Excellent club, but then I found a Pro head from another member on here so I own both *shrugs*

It's the Matrix Velox re-named. There's probably more info about the Velox than there is whatever it's named now. I think it just came out earlier this year, so it hasn't been around that long.

I wish they'd offer the Tour Green in a 70g range. Odd they have Blue in that range and Green in the 60g range and only those. I guess they have to draw the line somewhere.

Either way, I have no doubt these will be good drivers, Cobra makes some mighty fine equipment.

I had the privilege to hit on the range and play 36 holes with the new Fly Z+ driver recently. In my honest opinion it is the best driver I have ever played. The face is hot and I was able to work the ball in winding conditions way beyond expectations. This club is a winner.

I have a 60 ST in a G25 head right now. It's low/mid launch, but smoother than some of the other Matrix profiles. Very consistent loss of stiffness from butt to tip, then a spike in stiffness at the tip. Actually I think it's pretty similar in profile to some of the Graphite Design shafts. I don't know why they weren't popular, maybe the name change from Velox to VLCT confused people. And honestly neither one is a great name.

I think that the new Fly-Z line looks great, but I'm concerned that the new Speed Channel on the front of the face of the fairway woods and hybrids could catch some dirt, sand or small rocks/gravel when hitting out of a sand trap or from the turf. What is your thought on this since you were able to see it in person?

That's a very bold statement. Can you give us a little more information? I am playing the Bio cell plus this year, and really liking it.

The thing is, I am really getting some good results with the 12 degree head. To my knowledge, the Bio Cell Pro was only up to 9.5, or 10.5. I could probably get along with the SLDR just fine for another season. I hate to say it, but this is the first year in a long time that I really am not too excited about getting new equipment. It will really have to be an improvement to capture my interests.

I'm hoping the FZ+ is even just a bit more forgiving than the BCP. If the 460cc in this head allows that, it could be one of the best drivers out for 2015.

Now, can anyone compare the sound of the FZ+ with the BCP? If it's similarly muted and solid, I'll be even more pumped for this driver.

In the same boat, that speed channel has me intrigued, as does the compression channel in the Nike Vapor driver. However, I will wait to see if the reports of the FZ+ 3 wood can knock out a SLDR TS...that is a monster club for me, perfect for the Par 5s.

Can't wait to demo these! Cobra drivers just flat out perform like others have stated and the past few years they have consistently gotten better for me. Starting to gain a blind faith that whatever they put out will be better than last years model.
