What strikes me as interesting are the implications created by either the Tour's drug policy and/or endorsement contract language. Hence the lack of anything that could be independently substantiated.

It would not be a surprise to learn that within his sponsorship deals there were termination clauses triggered by illegal activity or reputation damage to a sponsor.
