Thank you .. i would like to continue the education process with golfers in the future, so hopefully we can do that again, and answer questions anyone has about golf balls, performance and technology.... we had over 1000 questions sent it to us to answer, so we chose a few so it would not make the viewing too long... around 22 mins, but lots of questions answered.. thanks again for the continued support...

I was fortunate to get one in 2005!

I tried a Snell MTB ball today (found one) and I thought it was pretty hard! I hit it as a second shot from a few different places to try it with different clubs!

Haha, I know where it had been. The guy ahead of us, hit it in the sand trap on a par 3 and left it there for some reason! We watched him hit it in there but then when he got closer to the green, he dropped another ball and didn't even deal with the sand trap. The ball looked like new! IDK what the deal was with that, maybe he doesn't like the sand or didn't notice the ball was in there and thought it went farther which would have put him into the woods, not sure!

 

Yeah you should always know where your balls have been! lol

Did he make a rude hand gesture toward the ball in the trap as he walked by? If so, that might have been me.

 

I hit a shot the other day that looked absolutely perfect in the air. Don't know if it hit a sprinkler head or what but it bounced at about a 110-degree oblique angle and ended up on a downslope in a deep bunker. I was so annoyed I didn't even stop to fetch it out of the sand.

Not that anyone would ever hold anyone to anything in an interwebs forum post, but do tradeshows/golf being seasonal play into any potential release schedule, over and above actually have a releasable to the market quality ball ready to go?

 

I'm still enjoying the MTBs in a rotation with remaining my Lethals stock and 330RXs, so I'm not really looking for anything new, more don't mess with the recipe, but was just wondering? :)

Gotta give kudos. My son and I had our last lesson of a long series of lessons with the pro last night. He's golf crazy now so of course he begged me to hit the course afterward. We played until it got too dark to see the ball, or fairway, or flag... 9 holes. For me, one of my big focuses with our pro this year has been finally trying to get results with the driver. It has paid off and, along the way, the MTB has been "along for the ride". I'm a strong guy but my football background has damaged my body and I'm dealing with that continuously. But, I'm still strong and flexible and always thought I should be able to mash it. I hit 3 big drives last night, one right at 300 yards even. Funny how those long ones feel so easy with you swing the club at them. The MTB really bores through the atmosphere off the driver - it really goes, launches out instead of up.

Also if you are still testing I assume the exact design isn't locked down yet? Given your answer in the video, that means it will take an additional two to three months (at a bare minimum) before you could actually start production once you finalize the design (given need for approval by USGA plus time to get packaging sorted out). So we are looking at a 2018 launch sort of no matter what, is that fair?

The actual launch date will be determined very soon... testing is on final protos, so we should be ready to place orders for balls for the launch soon... The USGA process is already underway, and packaging is almost finished as well... things are moving along very well... Early 2018 is for sure the latest....
