SNELL GOLF BALLS??? anyone???

Great golf balls. I tried out the MTB and GetSum.

Both are very good and are top balls in their categories.

The company has probably already considered this, but for people buying in bulk there may be no reason to ship the balls in sleeves of 3 and boxes of 4 sleeves

There might be a cheaper way to package and deliver bulk orders to the buyers.

a little update: packaging design for new ball(s) completed yesterday.... time to send off to printer for proofs... getting closer... PS: nothing wrong with a few beers on the course, or 19th hole...

How about a pic? We'll let you know if we see any errors.

I see people make comments all of the time saying I can get this or that tour ball cheaper than Snell MTBs. I don't play the MTB for price alone. I appreciate Dean;s business model where he is able to pass on savings to the end user by cutting out the middle man. I play the MTB because it's the ball that I like best. I purchased some B330s on sale recently which I played prior to the Snell. Still a great ball, but I sold the remaining two dozen and went right back to the MTB. If price is what matters most to some then so be it, but please don't make the argument about some other tour ball being cheaper as if to imply that the Snell ball is inferior because it is not.

Thanks for the suggestion... actually the packaging is all automated and done at that factory and shipped in cardboard shippers to protect the dozens and sleeves... The cost is very minimal to put them into dozens boxes.. The savings would be fairly minimal... if we had them all shipped in bulk, then we would also add labor to assemble dozens by numbers into boxes to ship here at the factory..so would probably almost be the same... so might be some small packaging savings, but pretty minimal overall when all said and done..

I played the MTB this weekend for the first time and really liked it. My normal ball is the V1x but I've played ksigs, volvick s4's, and numerous TM and Cally balls. The MTB is very good. Seemed a little like a mix of the V1 and the V1x for me which is ideal. I like the feel of the V1 better but the x has always played better for me.

I never used the original MTB but I have heard nothing but good things. I have been tempted several times to get some, perhaps I will finally pull the trigger. I have even seen them on Amazon and been tempted.

Great ball, you won't be sorry. Buy them straight from Dean and that way he doesn't have to share the profits with Amazon and can keep selling us great balls at great prices.

Dean, I will soon buy 6 dozen deal but I want to send a dozen or two to my friend in different state. Can you arrange separate packaging and shipping?

Some of the requests and comments I have seen really make me feel sorry for Mr. Snell. Don't you think it will cost Snell more money to ship if he is shipping to 2 different destinations?

The value pack pricing includes free shipping for one location... if we split it up, then we have the incremental shipping cost to the second location. Can you tell me how you want to divide them, and where they will be shipped to and I can see what we can do for you... thanks..Do me a favor tho, send the info to [email protected] and mention in the email that I asked you to send in the info and for them to forward to me... that way we dont have to tie this thread up and I will see it much faster as I do not see this thread everyday.. thanks for the order.....

I paid less than $25 a dozen for my current B330s, the previous Z-Star XV, and previous TP red. Right now there are Bridgestone, Wilson, Callaway, Taylormade, Srixion, Maxfli U6 all can be had for less than the Snell. Retail price the Snell is a good deal but most don't pay retail and can grab some great deals out there.

Where are these $15-a-dozen Tour balls you speak of? Show me and I will gladly buy 10 dozen.

Srixon Z355 - Miyazaki
Taylormade V-Steel 4-wood
Taylormade V-Steel 7-wood
Adams CB3 - KBS Tour 90
Wilson Staff FG TC 56/60
Yes Callie - bunch of lead tape on the bottom

It's confession time. I'm so sorry Dean for I have strayed. Since I get impatient at times I have experimented with some other balls thinking I might find another ball I liked as much as the Snell MTB. This year I've played the Wilson Duo,Bridgestone B330RXS,Titleist NXT Tour and Callaway Chrome Soft. As soon as I exhaust my current stock I will be going back to the MTB. All the balls I tried were good balls but there are two area's that I feel the Snell ball can't be beat. I've never played a ball that is as good as the MTB in the wind and the most important reason is the feel of the MTB off the putter. I will not stray again.

me 2. I feel the same after gaming Vivid XT. XT is good ball but nothin like MTB.

And vendor gave me a sleeve of '17 V1x as gift but I will send him a dozen as gift for him.

I would completely agree with your thoughts on playing the MTB in the wind. It's the best ball I've ever played in the wind period. It's funny I occasionally play the Project A as well (which Dean also designed) but really play the MTB regularly. It's a very good ball and the price and service can't be beat. Hopefully the new ball will only improve on an already great situation.

just when i was going to bag the B330RX, I had a snell in my bag that I had left...wow, what a ball, decision time again, and with the new snell on the horizon....

I thought you already are a convert. What taking you so long?

It's a phenomenon known as Ball Ho'ing and is incurable, making long term "converting" impossible. A common affliction in these parts.

I really like both the B330RX and the Snell MTB...I have plenty of room in my golf bag for both LOL
