Had a moment like this today, a grade school classmate of mine has a daughter playing college basketball.......

We had one phone in the house, rotary dial in the dining room, on the wall....

TV was black and white.
One phone in the house.
No cable. Three channels.


If you would have told me about today's cell phones when I was a kid my head might have exploded.

My Mum's cousin used to work for Nintendo in the 80's. My Dad tried the NES and played the original Super Mario Bros, the 2D sidescrolling classic. Upon playing it for a while he said it was alright and enquired on the price, something like £150 for the console and £25 for a game. Classically then turned and told her...

"Far too expensive, it'll never catch on."

I love him! Not a golf related one of course, but my Dad often has to take tablets before and during a round and has to do pre game exercises in the morning, his back is very bad though.
