Hey guys, I have a 006 prototype with the oven milled on the sole, but I haven’t seen any others like this with the weights installed on the sole. Since I haven’t seen this version anywhere I assume it wasn’t production, but my question is really how rare is this version? Also looks like there was some aftermarket red paint work done.

I am contemplating a Mod 90 and having it converted to LH, but was wonder if the grinding/welding would be too much for the polymer filling?

I have a red one on my 006 midnight, blacked out the bumpers/sole and removed paint fill on the swoosh and method on the back. Purple is sharp tho ! ??

Hey so I missed out on two putters last year and wondering if any of you got the Wie prototype origin or 008 prototype that were sold on the bay last year.

 

desperately trying to find either one. They haunt me.

The welding and heat from it will just destroy the polymer. Waiting for someone to figure out how to just do that and relocate the polymer fill process

Mod 90 arrived. Mint condition will original grip, headcover, and tape on the bottom. Kinda of a let down and disappointed

looking for some help on the Origin line.

I’m late to the game on these as this line came out when I was on my “hiatus” from golf if you will, and barely playing/definitely not ho’ing. Anyway, I’m now looking for my next putter, potentially to have converted into a longneck or to have as a compliment to my longnecks when they aren’t working. I originally was thinking method 001, but couldn’t find a clean one. Then I noticed the Origin line, of which Dallas golf has a bunch of. This seemed perfect, however I’m not one to particularly love a sight line. Now it seems that there where ones produced without sight lines, were they special editions/tour heads? I guess Dallas golf had them for a time too?

final question: besides the box, autograph, rods stamp, etc. what is the difference between the standard b2-01 and The Rory version?

I think Rory came with the original Method grooves. B2-01 is the one with the new groove pattern.

BTW, I remember there was a GolfWrx thread in which a WRX’er went to visit Nike fitting center and told them “what’s this OTR 006 crap you guys released. I wanted the real Scottsdale deal.” LOL. That was a fun read.

There is a limited release of the 006 Rory one that had the original grooves and a rotor b2-01. The b2-01 has “rors” stamped on the neck but I can’t figure out what else is different besides that.

I believe the differences were the grip, headcover, and specs (headweight of 352g or something close to it, 72.5 deg lie angle, 4 deg. loft, 34.24 inch length).

So then an exact replica of Rory's specs I'd assume, that makes sense. Thank you!
