TP Mills - Post your Putter

Dale dimensions are slightly different, a touch longer, taller and the shoulders are different "more rolled and sloped.  There is also a wider version which is what you have pictured in the black oxide.

He has been responding to emails lately saying some new slots/bandwidth are opening up, but he has said similar things to me over the past three years, and I still don't have a putter haha. That's my n=1 experience

Same experience here. Responded to a bunch of emails over the last 2 years, but nothing confirmed, no new putters.

I reached out to a couple members here (very appreciated!) for advice regarding the differences between all of the various builders out there, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice to go with a Mills for my first custom putter.

Thanks! The wait was just about 2 months. Weight is approximately 355-360g

I'm not trying to ask the general, "carbon vs stainless" question all over again...but specifically for TP Mills, if you could choose either, would you go with carbon or stainless, and why? I'm doubtful I'm ever going to have a chance to get one directly from David as a lefty, but someday I hope to pick one up secondhand.

If you would have ask me five years ago I would have said Carbon but David's SS's are very soft and to me a more precise feel than carbon.  I like carbon too but SS is all I have at present.

+1 above comment.   My Softtail with the Swiss SS is softer that any other SS putter I have tried.

Admittedly, given my efforts to get a putter from David seem to have been in vain, I probably asked this question prematurely...and I just ordered something from Kari Lajosi. With that said, I'll keep my eyes open and will start trying to manifest a stainless southpaw TP Mills!! Thanks everybody

I prefer carbon for the softer feel, but I also live in 0% humidity (possibly negative humidity, if that's a thing), so rust is never an issue for me.  Go Wyo!

If you keep an eye on ebay, you might find a left handed carbon model pop up every now and then.

I think a south paw stainless will be much harder to come by.

Thats a question I didn't even ask....I fell in love with it when I saw it and decided to buy it. I'm sure @oneaugusta will let us know. I've never had a Mills before and knew it was time when I saw this beauty.

This was originally the matte finish light brown torched finish, I refinished it in the Satin oil can torched finish. 

I will be listing another beautiful handmade very soon.

Larry (@oneaugusta) does the best torching/refinishing out there. Always improves the aesthetic.
