(NO BUY/SELL/TRADE POSTS) Air Jordan GOLF footwear - AJ12 Low G Cherry - 12/13/22

I meant in the street AJ1. Supposed authorities dis the mids. 🙄

I know. I feel like mids are starting to come on strong though. Some great mid color ways for sneakers released lately. People always knocked mids saying the leather wasn’t as good quality. But I don’t think that’s the case lately. And I think mids are more comfortable than highs.

and does anyone know how to rotate a picture? Not sure why my photo posted upside down.

my take on jordan golf shoes based on my usage experiences:

  • all the ones with TW free sole (flight runners, trainer st g, 6 low, 9 low, 1 high) are great examples of a golf shoe with jordan style retrofitted to function and perform for playing golf. flight runners and trainers are a breeze to walk 18 in and the 6s and 9s were the ones that started the wave of jordan retros in a golf shoe.
  • the 3s, 13s and 11s are the best because it seemed like nike/jb actually put effort into building a shoe that was for golf and blending in the jordan retro design.
  • i think the 5s and 4s are a step back in terms of golf usability. style-wise, they're identical to the actual 5s and 4s, but all that's different is a stiffer sole and golf spikes.
  • can't comment on the ADG line since i've never been a fan of spikeless golf shoes so that means that the upcoming 1 lows will just be a range shoe for me if i can cop.

Seeing the AJ1 lows actually listed in the catalog unlike previous Jordan releases makes me agree that these will be widely available like ADG

They could be but I don't see any sneakerblogs/hypebeasts pumping up the ADG's.  The crossover for streetwear on the 1's will be noticeable and impact supply IMO.  If you want them I'd advise to act quick.

Nothing would make me happier to be completely wrong though.

Local Roger Dunn got these in about an hour before I walked in.  They had these shadows, all whites, and the ‘Dior’ colorway a.  Ended up walking out with the shadows, but I can easily see myself going back for the ‘Diors’.

Super comfortable, but definitely feels wider than most Nike shoes.  For reference, I wear 9.5 wide in Footjoy Premiers, and I’m usually a 10-10.5 in other Nike shoes.  I got these in 9.5 and they fit perfect.  The tread isn’t hard at all, and I can easily see people wearing these as normal everyday shoes.  We’ll see how the traction goes when I play on Sunday.

You had some restraint. I would have walked out with at least one of each color way. Maybe 2 of each. Lol

This is exactly why I'm interested in the 4's. I would love a 1 with spikes, I skated for 2 years in Jordan 1's and that's why SB's are based off Dunks. I wear SB's or other skate shoes as my daily wear, so adding spikes for traction is all I really need.

Can someone compare fit on these to other Jordan models

I wore 10.5 in the 4s, 11 in the 11 lows, and 9.5 in the 1s.  Granted I probably could have gone with a 10 in the 1s and been totally okay too.

Walked 18 in the 1s today, and had no issues with slipping.  Can’t wait to get the Dior color way.

Dang they fit way big then. I wear an 11 in the 11 lows. I have never had to go to a 9.5 in any shoe. Would you say a full size big compared to normal Nikes?

I still don’t understand how people vary sizes so much. I’m a 10.5 in every Nike sneaker I’ve worn since high school.

Agreed the J1 same size here for me, just a little wide compare to other Jordans Golf but is not enough to go up in size, but everyone is different.

Then consider yourself lucky, not everybody has the same shape foot. I’m the same as @Turmoil35x above, 10.5 in 4s and 5s, but an 11 in the 11s and that still didn’t feel right. Sneakers are one thing, golf shoes different entirely imo. As narrow as Nike has gone the last few years there are some models I simply cannot wear or get my foot into without going way too far up in size. And I don’t even have what’s classified as a wide foot.

Their shoes have been basically ballet shoes the past four years or so. All I can think of is that most of their releases are designed to be unisex and they split the difference.

My local Roger Dunn has the whites. Apparently they started selling the wolf grey over the weekend and sold out quick. The stock lady said that no one from Nike told them not to release...as per usual...so they just started selling. I scooped the whites. Really wanted the Grey tho. Fingers crossed on NDC release.

Because it’s not just length that’s important but also the shape.
