The AJ1s are getting coverage all over sneaker groups/socials.  Many people want them because of how wearable they are off the golf course and the hyped CWs (Chicago, Shadow and Dior).  These are going to be really impossible to get when it has the attention of every botter out there.

Sadly this is true. Good luck to anyone trying to get a pair

4s are more comfortable but it’s more of a question of whether you want a low or mid cut shoe.

5s are the least comfortable of any Jordan release.

I guess it is all on personal preference and your foot. FOR ME, the 5's are the most comfortable shoe but I have a little bit wider foot so these feel great for me. The 4;s are comfortable as well but IMHO I give the edge to the 5's. I have 2 pairs of the 4's and all of the 5's.

I am looking to buy a pair on Ebay of either the 4s or 5s. Is there much difference in comfort? Pretty similar?

I like the 4’s much more than the 5’s and I have both. I will say they are both bulky shoes and nothing like any golf shoe you’ve ever worn. Just know that going in… but for me the 4’s are more comfortable. That being said I don’t hesitate walking 18 in my wolf grey 5’s.

That was the first thing I thought of when I saw them on all the hype sites and social media. The amount of responses on people that wanna cop that don't golf was crazy. It's so depressing. As someone who ACTUALLY GOLFS and would ACTUALLY WEAR THEM I'm bummed. We would have been better off if they had slapped spikes on them.

Callaway Rogue ST Max - Tensei AV White - 8*
Taylormade M3 HL - MFS5 White Tie 60S -0.75" (42.5")

Mizuno JPX 923 HMP - 4-G - Recoil 95 S - 2* upright

Callaway X-JAWS - 52/58*

Odyssey OWorks 2ball  -  34" - 1* loft - 71* lie
Slighter Proto 1 #9/Del Mar design - High Toe - Long neck - Deep Milled face - 33", 370gr, lie 71*, loft 4*

The same pain that skateboarders go through whenever there's a hyped up SB Dunk release.  Some skate shops go as far as making buyers do tricks on a skateboard or force them to wear the shoes out the store.  I would love to see golf shops that sell these make people swing a club in a simulator to prove that they golf.

A true sneakerhead with class and taste would forgo rocking a shoe that has the "Golf" branding written on the tongue tag, but then again, a sneakerhead/hype beast that's tasteful and has class? LMAO Good luck to us actually trying to style on the course.

I get the feeling that many of us here in this thread are also “true” Sneakerheads with style and class and will Buy both Golf and non-Golf versions. I certainly have.

I've seen em being dumped on eBay. Figured there was a retailer that jumped the gun.

I never wore the ST G trainers, but they look like they'd be the most comfortable golf shoes ever made. How were, are, they? I won't pay those premium prices for them though. Just curious because I see people wanting those to be re-issued.

They're my favorites by far of all the Jordans I've owned, and the ones I still wear the most 3/4 years later. The retros all have a certain bball silhouette to follow, and no matter how you pad it up there's still a bit of compromise IMO. The trainers are the only ones that feel like they originated as a golf shoe to me.

Yes I gamed a few colorway of the ST G Trainers and rotate the Jordan Golf Flight Runner, two of the most comfy shoes i have used. The rest of the Jordan release i just collect, the IXs is too, and looking forward for the J1 low.

They are very comfortable. They are very similar to the TW 13 and 14s which are also comfortable. Bring ‘em back!!!

Super comfortable. I have 2 pair. One pair even leaks water in, but I still wear them because they are comfortable. You should definitely be rooting for a re-issue.

I would highly agree with this. I think the XI is an exception for comfort. They definitely still have that bball silhouette, but I think it works for the XI.

This actually made me LOL.

I love the the lows, mids and highs. Silly that people bash the mids.
