i've been a Nike.com member since November of 2001. i buy 2-3 pairs a month. just this year i've spent over $10,000 on Nike.com (also, not bragging, just sharing my experience).

this weekend i "won" the Jordan VI Bordeaux which was the first shoe i have won on the SNKRS app since 2017.

i agree that there is no correlation between how much you spend and how lucky you get on releases.

That’s just an absurd amount of shoes

Is there any relationship between whether people get limited releases and how much they shop at NDC?

Metallic Green IVs were probably my first L since the Safari Bred XIs. Was able to get the Military Blue IVs. My suspicion is that I do pretty well because I probably buy 1-2 Nikes a month. Am I just getting lucky or do I get an advantage due to my other Nike spend?

No - because If that was the case, I’d win almost every drop.  I have not won a single drop in 4-5 months.   (Golf + regular Jordan releases)

Nike said the more you interact with the App is how you get better chances at winning.   The more releases you enter the better your overall chances for future releases.   I still have not found that to be true.

Passed on the military blues and bought a second pair of the white cements.  I've only worn my first pair twice in fear of messing them up... maybe ill actually wear them now with a back up pair in the stable. lol

i also dbl’ed up for this reason, but after wearing them for over a dozen rounds, have found them to be very durable.

I got the L on these as well. Any clue if nike/Jordan would release the ST G trainer golf shoes again? Those soles are far and away the best they’ve made recently and the design was unique.

I have the White/Grey, and the Navy. Look, I dont normally agree with violence as an option... But I might shank someone for those black/red/elephant.

Is that your mock up? I'd certainly dig on some Dior AJ1s.  Come to think of it... If they just released a white AJ1 I could remake the chunky dunky too (close enough)!

Oh if they were only in my size (as heard so often in the BST) 🤣

Though much is taken much abides;
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

I’ve been hit or miss in streaks, but I go for the main stream releases. I don’t even count the Diors or Travis Scott’s as Ls

I got the concords and black IIIs in a short period. I got the 95 neons and infrared 90s in a short span too

then it’s lost in the dessert forever between hot streaks.

TBH, the early Jordan golf shoes were super easy to get. I got the IIIs, VIs, IXs, and concords. Unfortunately, all the early golf models seems off and never ended up wearing them. I rarely flip shoes. I only go for shoes I want.

 I think the concords changed the system though and they’re harder now. Only hit on black Vs since then.

hopefully Nike can invest in some major anti bot technology in the future. I respect “limited quantities” and the marketing frenzy around it, but bots help no one

Are the 4s comfortable? I just got the blues and wondered how they compare to the 5s or any other Jordan?

I’ll preface this by saying I’m a Jordan stan—but I’m also honest. For me the only retro that has been comparable to a decent golf shoe is the 11 (I’ve only owned 3s, 4s, 5s, and 11s). Again, I said retros, ADGs, ST Trainers, Grinds all excluded.

3s and 4s are basically the same, somewhat comfortable, mid top takes some getting used to. 5s we’re terribly uncomfortable (so are the bball shoes for me). 11s are the gold standard. Perfect execution between style, comfort, and performance.

Awesome feedback, I have the 5s and I’d agree with you. I’m just waiting for Jordan to come out with more ST trainer like shoes or soles. By far my most comfortable Jordan golf shoes.

i never really tried the cement 3’s, had them and sold just cause someone could enjoy them more than me.

the 11s non golf are the most comfortable but I just can’t pull off the 11s in shorts for golf.

100% accurate.  It's all about the bottoms on the shoes imo.  The 11's have a more golf bottom while the 4's and 5's stayed true to the retro bottom.  Makes it a lot harder to walk in.  Not to mention that the 4's and 5's are already a bit heavier anyway just because of their design.  The 11's are a homerun which is why the resell value is so much higher on them.

I love my 3’s and 13’s - I think they’re both exceptionally comfortable. I have some st trainers I wear from time to time but the 4’s and 5’s are lower than all the above (for me) on comfort.

I never thought my 11’s were “better” than the 3’s or 13’s - but that may just be my feet!

Flight Runners and ST Trainers are the best Jordan golf shoes to me.  11s are right behind them, but they'd be the best if the fit was better on me.  They were the first, of now many, Nike golf shoes that were too narrow for me.

I find the 4s more comfortable than the 5s, but they are just okay for golf.  I don't recall any previous retros being especially good or bad in any way for golf, and I don't have them anymore.
