Retro forged swoosh blade with updated grooves is all they need to do. Simple is the key!!

Somehow I don't see them going away from the modern muscle technology. If they could package it in a more traditional look though, I'd definitely be in. Lose the black accent, keep it more in line with the MM Proto's but soften the hard edges in the cavity and they might have something.

didn't you guys jus buy new clubs like 4 months ago? we're not even half through 2016 and you all want new clubs already. I'm still gaming the 09 vr tw irons and still don't even want new irons unless they make blade that's better. only thing I bought this year for golf was the putter. didn't like the vapor fly drivers. fly pro irons are alright. vp irons were nice but still couldn't pull the trigger

That said, I don't plan on switching anything in the bag, but the mm protos left handed would pique my interest.

Only interested in new irons, which is a two year cycle for the player's irons. Can't decide if I would rather play blade or PC.

For me it came down to the turf interaction. Having played the VR Pro Blades, I just couldn't get along with the pre worn leading edge that is on the PC.

Really curious as to what the colour scheme will be... I really like the photo blue and will be saving up to replace the volts in my bag but if the colour is gonna be even nicer.... then I might as well skip the blue and get the 2017 colour set !

Everything Nike does as far as name and color seems to be based on a two year patterns. (VR, VRS) (Covert, Covert 2.0) (Vapor, Vapor Fly). The name will be different for sure, and will go hand in hand with the entire Nike brand, which is what they did with Vapor.

 

In addition, I suspect the color will also be a "Nike" theme. For example, Volt is a "Nike Color" and the photo blue was an Olympic color in honor of golf returning to the Olympic games this year. My guess is Orange only because it is the most well known Nike color (shoe boxes) and hasn't been utilized yet as a color theme.
