I hope the third attempt works well for you. Living with pain is not enjoyable. On the upside, your paintings are always so beautiful! As for Gus throwing out food, with spring in full bloom, golfers will be out in full bloom as well, and will need to stop in and replenish the energy system, so it may be time to update the menu and prepare for the new golf season.

I bought 2 more Ping G410 Hybrids. I recently bought 17 and 19 degree ones and I really 

like them so I bought the 22 and 26 degree ones. I'll probably buy the 30 degree one soon

Hope you had a great birthday tol. Glad you got to replenish the art supplies and necessities. Plus 79 is the new 59, many good paintings ahead for sure. DW will keep a good eye on you and assure the liqueur is distributed at the proper pace no doubt... 🥳

I'd go along with that!  The more the merrier when it comes to hybrids.

It's taken me awhile too.  I've never read what Barney Adams had to say (that I can remember)

but I can see that when I get down around 30 degrees and less I'm hitting my irons too low. If

I try to counteract this with higher launching shafts in those irons I lose distance.  And, to boot,

Ping says that they design their irons so that the longer irons will fly higher and the shorter

irons and wedges will fly lower. Even with this built in help it's not enough. 

 

The key to hitting the lower lofted irons is swing speed, which increases spin and elevates the

ball and helps the ball hold it's line. If you don't have the speed.............................

 

All this is pretty common knowledge if one has bothered to look into the matter. The problem is

not everyone gets along with hybrids. I've bought and tried many and just never felt that

confident with them. IMO, adjustable hybrids are, literally, game changers. Now that I can adjust

a hybrid to fit me I am much more confident that I can make it work for me and am eager to

invest the time practicing with it.

It's pretty sad the state of entertainment in this day and age.  I can't remember the last new release movie that I've seen that was memorable.  TV is even worse with lame spin-offs and the constant barrage of not-so-reality TV. 😒
