Well, I did stray from Ping for a short while a year or so ago when I became a Honma

I love that answer !   I’m carbon neutral !😂  after all - I planted two incense cedar saplings yesterday!   Who knows how many trees I’ve planted here in 20 years. 
 

these particular saplings came from some mature trees that a neighbor has. Those trees were said to have been planted by their father after a trip to California in the 1940s. As those cedars aren’t really native to our area.     I love their bark and long needles. I also have two teenage cypress trees off the James River in Virginia. They now have 2-3ft knees coming up.   They’re down in the bottom land by the little stream at the back of the property.   Where it’s wet.  Useless facts. Do with them what you wish . They cost what they’re worth ! 😉

Say more about your coating. I was looking into having my garage etched (20 year old concrete) then an epoxy coat.

Kind of pricey but not terrible. My garage is 900 Sq ft and he quoted me $5500 to do it. I suppose it depends on your area.

Still good in CO, and other places I ride such as NM, AZ, UT and ID.  Cali doesn’t like 2 strokes anymore. Thats fine, most of the places we used to ride there are closed now anyway.  I get it that these type of combustion engines are emitters, but I don’t lose much sleep with my tiny effect on the worlds carbon footprint compared with coal plants around the world to generate electricity. 
 

Also can’t imagine going w/o my two Stihl chainsaws, which I carry when we clear trails every spring. Same trails I see hikers and mtn bikers (I’m one of those too) never take part in any of the trail maintenance.

Love those bing bing bikes!  I had a mid 80's Honda CR 250. I had the local Honda place do some work and they did not tell me they had removed the reed valve assembly. I put it back together and fired it up and it was a rocket for a very short time and then seized up. The gasket had been torn and was missing a piece and it was sucking air.  It was lean and mean for a very short ride. Fixed it again and sold it to a kid who loved it. We were starting a family and I decided to stick with more tame hobbies.

Talked with one of my guys in India today and it was over 100F where he is. 
 

As I sit in my hot tub drinking brown liquor and dodging hail that’s getting kinda big, that doesn’t sound too bad!

 

 Dirt bikes….man, I never got to mess with a two smoke. Wish I had. My buddy had a BIG bore single Honda. Can’t remember if it was a 500 or 650 but I can tell you kicking that thumper over was taking your life into your hands. I saw that thing break one guys foot and another ankle with a savage kick back. Now it would not do that if you followed the start procedure to the letter, but even under the best of circumstances she was a bastxxx to start (sorry Reverend!)

The early Harley Sportsters were notorious for kick back. In fact any earlier Harley with the little outside distributor was. You had to manually retard the timing to kick start. In fact my 66 Panster (Sportster bottom end Panhead Top end) I finally installed a Magneto which automatically retarded and then advanced.

My ex wife her family (and her) were big on the place. I got dragged into a family Vacation with that crowd one time. Supposed to be for a week. No joke here. I stayed 2 days with that bunch and found my way to the Trailways bus station and caught me a bus to Charlotte. Got home jumped on my Harley and spent the rest of the week in Ocean Drive Beach.
