Your obviously just trolling so try to keep up. I had them keep the Mevo order open but still trying to get my sticker order that I placed on Feb 21st and still haven't received. Theres only two things I have been barking about. 1) Show us the product so I can make a judgement to keep or return the order so I dont get boned with the mandatory 15% restocking fee. Thats roughly $75. 2) If your having a national release, educate your sales staff on the product during a pre-sale event. Or mention on the website that this is the only information untli the product is officially out in the wild.

So he's possibly going to keep the Mevo as long as he likes it after three days but he's waiting 10 days for a refund on the stickers? Does FlightScope charge a restocking fee if you try the stickers and don't like them?

I'm still trying to understand why someone so critical of the poor launch and lack of details would have put money down on it after complaining so much.

Because it has alot of potential of being a really awesome product. The email I received from FS says there will be limited stock on the first release, who knows how long it will take FS to get more out. Im honestly over it. There is no point beating a dead horse. Its been 30 days since I placed my two orders and know just as much now as I did then. Now we are stuck with bickering with each other until someone gets thier hands on one.

Basic radar-based systems can only measure ball and club speed. Everything else is calculated. I want this to be great, just like I wanted the ES14 to be great, but there's too much going on that can't be accounted for in even the best calculations.

 

What I REALLY want to see is an affordable multi-sensor-type system that incorporates 2 or 3 types of measurement sensors... something like SkyTrak (ball speed, spin, launch angle) + P3Pro (club speed, club path, face angle) + Radar(ball speed, club speed) in the ~$2500-$3000 range could seemingly pull together several of these systems into an affordable package that could also offer more reliable measurement-based data with less variables, less calculation, and even some redundancy for sanity checks.

If you have an array of antennas configured in a vertical and horizontal array you can measure everything. Using Fourier transforms and angle of arrival calculations you can get launch angle and left/right angles. You can get real spin rates, ball speed, club speed, club face, angle of attach, club path, etc. This is done with time slices or electronic snapshots or everything happening in every time slice. It all comes down to the software and processors used. Check out the Google Soli project where it uses radar to track finger movements. This device uses three antennas and the metal dot is used for better reflection of the electromagnetic waves as the power for this device is small compared to the higher end Flightscope and Trackman products. Look for these prices to drop as the chips to make these are getting better, smaller, and more precise.

So its probably doubtful that FS will include a case for the Mevo so I have been looking around for some ideas for the device that doesn't exist yet. Looks like the Pelican 1120 case is a perfect size for the Mevo and a charger. Anyone else have any ideas. Not really crazy about the leather bag solution that my ES12 comes in. I'm sure there are some camera guys on here who might have some ideas.

Do you have any information on what the accuracy of the cardboard cutout of a MEVO will be? What about spin axis? Will is measure that or only spin? It would also be great to know if we could replace the smiley face stickers by just drawing a smiley face on the ball. Presumably that would work outdoors as well as indoors. Sorry, I could not resist.
