REVIEWS: Fujikura ATMOS Tour Spec Testing. Read what member testers say.

I hit 2 balls on the range with the epic/red combo man what an awesome feeling combo.

Played the m2/blue combo today because I just got it. It feels so much better then the devotion 04 I had in there. It was wet, and fairway grass was high so distance was hard to judge.

Hope to get out this next week and compare them head to head.

Now that I've had some more time with the ATMOS line I can confidently say I've never been happier with a line of wood/hybrid shafts. All of them, from driver to my hybrid feel fantastic and when I'm not swinging like a jerk, my ball flight is pretty consistent. It's a definite confidence builder when you know what to expect, and that's what I get with the ATMOS shafts. I took a bit of a leap of faith getting the HB Blue 8S in my hybrid sight unseen, but my EX10 3H is a weapon with that shaft. I just had my Black 7S installed in my TEE Beta 4W and I gamed it today for the first time and that combination is nasty as well. Finally, the Black 6S in my 2017 M2 is just smooth and is a joy to hit. I'm very happy I made the switch, and if you're on the fence definitely give ATMOS a try...you won't be disappointed!

Finally got my M2/Atmos red driver combo on the course and couldn't be more satisfied. I'd only previously been to the range so I was still in the dark as to actual performance with real golf balls. I love this freakin' thing. Launches perfect for me and not overly spinny at all. I'd still love to see feedback from anyone else going with Red in the Driver. If you need a little height at all do not be afraid of the red. Might be the smoothest shaft I've ever hit and seems to be a great match for the M2.

Maybe the shaft is too weak for you, but I don't know. You should go to a Fujikura dealer and get fit.

I'd guess that the Atmos stiff is stiffer than the ZT. Doesn't the Blue spin more and launch higher compared to the Black

Lots of possibilities. Same shaft length, weight, same ball?

Really like the Atmos Blue with my epic driver.

Currently rocking the ATMOS Red with my Epic and I'm liking it a lot as well. I still want to get on a launch monitor to see the numbers but I'm loving the feel of the ATMOS

Feel and dispersion with the atmos in the epic is solid. What I can't tell yet is if it's spinning too much.

I was frustrated with my current driver and decided to give the Taylormade M2 a try with the Atmos Tour Spec Red in it. None of us selected for the testing choose this shaft and out of curiosity I thought I would give it a try. I decided to go with an S flex tipped an 1" versus the Atmos Blue in an X flex that I received for the testing. I did not notice a huge feel difference between the two shafts, the Red felt just as stable as the Blue did for me. For me, if you covered both shafts, I would have a tough time telling you which one just by feel. Where you really see the difference is in the ball flight, it does launch higher than the blue. I won't go into distance comparison that much between the two because of the different heads. All in all, I think the Atmos Tour Spec Red is a better fit for me than the Blue & I really like the Blue.

ATMOS!!! Congrats on the win, although I really wanted to see James Hahn win .

Thanks Man, we were stoked for Billy. First win since 2014. He is a grinder and it paid off for him! He was one of the first guys to put ATS black into play at Farmers and has stuck with it.

When I saw him in person at the Shell, I thought his ballflight looked a little low - I guess it works for him!

Great shaft, for a great win, congratz to Fujikura on a SUPERB shaft.

I am still LUVIN mine. I've had to rounds in the 70s with this shaft off the Black tees in my course (75, 78) driving has been key to keeping it under 80. Even playing with a bad left shoulder, its still out there.

What Atmos would be the closest to the GD BB and would it feel just as good?

I think the BB may fit in between the Black and the Blue. And yes, I think the Atmos shafts feel just as good as any of the Graphite Design shafts I have owned.

I would say Blue because the BB is a mid launch low spin shaft and the Blue is a mid launch, mid spin. Although the Blue is classified as a mid/mid, most people that I have seen post about it are saying it's more of a mid low/mid low shaft. I'd go that route if you're going to test one out George.

For me, I can't elevate the 15° off the deck high enough. It's great off the tee and log as a mofo, borderline too long but if I could do it again, I would go Red in the 15°. I would go Blue or Black in a high loft though.

I have a Blue 7 in my 3w. It's a 14* set at -1 and it's gets up in the air fine for me. I like a little extra roll from my 3w though, so it works out good. I actually only carry my 3w about 15-20 yards longer than my 5w, but it it rolls out. Additionally, if i'm hitting into a breeze with it, it doesn't balloon like my 5w will. I think its a great 3w shaft. I would like to try a Red in my 5w, right now I am playing a Diamana S+, and that is more of a hit and stick club for me with that shaft, and into the wind the ball get absolutely tortured with it.

So I just got an atmos blue 7S in my 3W and coming from a motore speeder TS 7.2S I noticed the following:

- blue launches higher

- blue is easier to load

- the feel with the blue is on another level than the 7.2 TS, much livelier and you can really feel the kick

- misses carry longer, about the same left/right dispersion as the 7.2 TS

all in all, i am loving the blue, gives me the preferred flight window and launch, feels absolutely amazing and misses are bettter!

great job fujikura with the atmos blue!

i was so impressed with the blue in my 3W, that i ordered an atmos blue 6S for my driver to replace my motore speeder TS 6.2S.

i will report back on how that works out for me soon!

So I just thought I would provide an update. I have tried both the Kuro Kage DC 60TX and the Mitsubishi Tensei CK Pro White 60 stiff in my Epic head. These are the shafts that I wanted to try at the beginning of the season, and was planning to use, until I was selected to test the Atmos. I can say that I wouldn't have tried the Atmos, if it hadn't been for this test. Obviously the TX flex in the KK is not apples to apples, but that profile only came in the TX (stiff is a different profile). What surprised me is that the Atmos seemed to have a straighter ball flight consistently when compared to both other shafts. The KK DC and the Tensei both had a draw ball flight that occasionally turned into a hook. The Atmos almost never hooked, unless it was a really bad swing. I have swung/played all 3 shafts multiple times over the past 3 months, and the Atmos Black is the clear best match for my swing of the 3. My son seems to like the KK DC, so he is getting that one and I plan to sell the Tensei White. I have been waiting to write this, as I really don't like it when people say they are in love with a shaft, and it will never leave their bag after 1-2 rounds. I have played this shaft for over 15 rounds and no less than 20 sessions on the range, and it is firmly in the bag for the season. All 3 are great shafts, but the Atmos matches my swing the best. Driver shaft testing is done for the year.

Sounds like you have a winner! I am about 30-35 rounds deep with the Atmos, it is a really good shaft.
