No but at the end of the video when he's being put in the car, he's moaning and possibly grimacing as he gets seated. At one point I thought I heard him say "ahhh my back" but I can't be sure. I'm sure others here heard it also.

The stimulus during the HGN was way too close, it has to be 12-15" away from the face. It appeared to be no more than 10". The instructions were also confusing and not in the correct order. Any decent DWI defense attorney is going to eat that Officer alive if it goes to court. I understand why he made the arrest, but that was a poorly conducted DWI investigation from the few parts shown. I'd love to see the entire video. Don't be surprised when this charge is dropped or plead to something much less.

 

Not disputing any of this and I realize these are trained professionals, but they're probably regular guys and I'd put money down that they were all a bit 'star struck' and very nervous. Giving each other the "can you believe this sh*t?!?!" looks.

Anyone who has been through chronic pain understands that there is a compounding effect of pain meds over time.

 

 

6 weeks out from surgery and Tiger could have been very well following the proscribed dosage and took a sleeping pill and gotten out of bed and had no clue what he was doing......

 

Or could have been out whoring it up....

 

Either way this is a sad episode for our sport.

 

Since he had his seat belt on and was asleep....I hope he beats the rap.

I would be surprised if it went to court. Even if Woods did take it to court, and won, in the eyes of the "court of public opinion" he is guilty. Simply looking at his photos many will surmise he was under the influence of something.

Tiger may have already shot himself in the foot with the statement he issued. Defense attorneys believe he likely did.

I was given basically the same pain meds for back issues a while back and thankfully was home. It scared the hell out of my wife the way I was behaving and I could not remember a thing. She flushed the remaining prescription. If he was not under any supervision I could see something like this happening.

I too saw Tiger at the Byron Nelson after winning his first masters and I remember standing right next to him as he tossed grass for wind direction on the tee at 17 and it actually hit me in the face. And he looked at me and apologized but he looked so ZEN

Heartbreaking to watch that video considering who it is, what he's accomplished, what he meant to so many people, and how he was perceived. The rise was legendary and the fall is becoming something of even more legends. I want to tell my kids that I saw TW raise trophies not ducking to enter a backseat. I hope Tiger can grind through this and restore his life.
