THere's a lot of old courses I'd like to see host the open. Unfortunately technology has made them obsolete. Roll the ball back and you no longer have to trick up US Open tracks.

 

which was exactly the point of playing this one at 7800. By the way, Pebble is too short for the modern game (equipment). The only thing that would keep Pebble relevant would be really high rough, really hard, fast greens, and a lot of wind. And we know how well the modern ball does in the wind.

 

By the way, I hope they bring it back here and play it at over 8,000.
