Miller is already getting nervous about a sub 63 being out there...was stuttering and stammering talking about Grace just needing to par in for 64 with both Par 5's left.

There have been lots of 63's. It's 62 that has him scared.

Which is why I said "sub 63".

Sorry. Agreed! :)

Why would they allow the course to play so easy today? Can't control the weather obviously, but I like seeing these guys struggle for birdies and fight for pars in a major championship.

they are trying to bring the field backto the leader for a sunday finish that isnt a runaway... But if Spieth comes out and lights it up it may backfire ...

Spieth was hoping for more wind and rain IMO. let's see if he can change his mentality and play more aggressive today.

I'm not sure they think like that....the course is set up and that's it. It's round 3 and Speith hasn't teed off, why not wait another 5 hours and see what happens. Speith may not want a runaway lead as he seems better in a battle with another 3-4 players

Hmmm, weather out of their control. Birdies are there on certain days, big deal. Don't play in a bubble.

Given the ease at which these guys are way under par, I think the more impressive feat to be discussed should be Danny "One Hit Wonder" Willett's round of 3 over today.

Really, must be b**** day, lol?

Conditions too easy, Willett a hack - what do you think of the announcers?

Apparently God wanted to see birdies on moving day.

Haha! Fair enough. I'm in a b***** mood today. So I guess while I'm at it, I can't wait to see Spieth stick his 8 iron up Poulter's a**.

I'm good with the announcers.

I just don't get the 63 talk... It should be score relative to par, so a 63 on a par 72 is more impressive than a 63 on a par 71 and even more so than on a par 70. Simple math will tell you this.

So for today, a 61 is needed to tie the best round in a major championship (i.e. 9 under), not a 63 or even a 62. The mark for best round in a major championship is simply 10 under right now, no matter what par is.

My thought exactly. What is this obsession with 62? This is a par 70 course. A number of 63s have been shot on par 71 and 72 courses.

Uh-oh, here it comes. So unworthy - wait, he did just hit it only 62 times I think.

Darn it Well Played, I thought Poulter and the 8 iron had you seeing blue skies!

Becuse 63 has been done 31 times and now one there is one who has done 62 and goes to the history as the first.
