Paige to PXG Intersting Pickup

I saw that PXG is now the equipment sponsor for Paige Spiranac. Very interesting move. She will definitely appeal to many, but not in the traditional way that most companies take on Pros.

Actually, pretty smart move here. She can now flood FB, Insta, Snapchat and whatever other platforms she's on with the PXG clubs. She'll get 50x more views just from that, than Lydia or any other top notch LPGA PXG staffer will just from their own social media and tourney play.

She's a good golfer, with a huge Social Media following, who appeals to women (through fashion, anti-bullying campaigns, etc.) and appeals to men via bikini photos, sweaty tank top photos, and more bikini photos. And now she'll be holding sexy PXG clubs.

Since she is local, I'd assume this "sponsorship" includes quite a few appearances for PXG, Scottsdale National, etc. It is not like she'll be getting much exposure on LPGA coverage anytime soon.

Already said it in the other thread, but I think this is a smart move. She's probably more popular on a large scale than any other woman golfer on the planet, bar maybe Lexi or some of the other more attractive LPGA players. She will get them more advertising than probably the top 5 performing PXG staffers combined, simply because she's all over social media.

That's a great point and as a marketing consulting company I always emphasize to my clients you can't use social media "likes" or followers to qualify for a bank loan or feed your family. It's all about conversion rate and Parsons know that but ultimately he's trying to expand his reach with the addition of Paige to his team.

The thing about Bob Parsons is he is a master marketer , and salesman . He knows what will sell ! Danica Patrick for Go Daddy, Paige for PXG , etc... Create an aire of exclusivity , surround the brand with beautiful woman. And just watch guys max out their credit cards. Personally , I have hit the irons , fairways and a couple of the drivers and they are just expensive Pings. But to each his own!
