I appreciate the heritage aspect Nike is going for on these....but dangggg...these are just brutal. A T-shirt with the tartan and Car-Nasty would have been plenty...but only if it was dri-fit...no cotton.

I think they're pretty damn nice. With the tartan pattern, it shows the history of where The Open is being played.

 

Not sure if I could dish out $250 for them though....

The Tour Premieres are ugly af anyway, so they didn't exactly have a great canvas to work with in the first place.

 

They look like spats or something a nurse would wear on a long shift.

Finally, Nike has been steady dropping stuff for the Majors. But doesn’t seem to be nice, the good stuff they have are still PE’s.

 

Should have released the US Open Lunar command 2 an Lunar Control Vapor 2 instead of the tour premieres.

I finally worked a 15% code from CS this morning, grabbed the new FI Impact3 in "wide" white/gray.

I don’t necessarily like the new Premiere colorway but probably has more to do with my indifference toward the Premiere styling in general...i do love when Nike does stuff like this bc they will hit a homerun more often then striking out and it will lead to straight ? in the future colorways

 

(And i am not saying these premieres are a strike out either...maybe just a single but not gonna get a spot in the rotation)

Want to get the tour premiere's- but have to try them in person after hearing all of the inconsistency reports on this thread and elsewhere- makes me nervous.

 

I have the lunar command 2 with Boa which have been fantastic but the heel is starting to get pretty worn. Tried the lunar control vapor 1's and they were comfy but narrow in the toe vs the lunar command 2's.

 

Anyone able to compare the fit between the Tour Premiere's and the Lunar Command 2's?

 

Makes me regret not picking up a second pair of the Jordan St's lol.

aren't those puma shoes like 8 years old? that's kind of the point, the NASTY thing looks like something Puma would have done when they were pushing Rickie being a "rebel". Puma's newer offerings are just as good if not better than what Nike has been doing, and they're usually at a better price point.
